Ok, in my opinion the set Roger used was not the best, nearly as bad as in the works to be honest, the Hot Space set i think was the best drum set, but at the tribute concert, during some of the tracks like "Heroes" for example, what is that thing he uses when he smacks it with his drumsick it makes a bang noise?!
i cant find a pic but hope you know what i mean!
no it doesnt have anything on the end, its like when Roger had the electronice drums during the hot space and works tour, only its like a solid material which makes a bang noise when hit with his drumsticks!
GiantSpider wrote: As far as I know it's just like a hollow wooden tube which makes a click when you hit it. And Roger still had electronic drums on the magic tour.
<<Spike Edney is GOD>>
Spike, are you disguising yerself as Giant Spider again? ;-)
Yeah he hits it in Crazy Little Thing called love too. Im not sure what it is.
Ive never been a big fan of electrics and Hot Space was a turn-off to me because a good 3/4 of the songs that they did on that tour had some sort of electronics in them.
Did it have eight pads? It was a Roland Pad8 or an SPD20. Possibly a Drumkat module. I saw him using it for the snaps and claps of Under Pressure. I've always liked the black Ludwigs myself.
