The May 30 2005 issue of Us Weekly has a ton of stuff about our Natalie Portman, Hayden Christensen, & Ewan McGregor, promoting Star Wars Revenge Of The Sith. Pages 66-67 is called "The Hunks of Star Wars" (I'm not kidding!) Page 66 is all about Ewan, biography, lists his career credits, favorite Star Wars memory, etc. Page 67 is all about Hayden Christensen, biography, lists his career credits, favorite Star Wars memory, etc. Both actors confess to "confiscating" keeping original light sabers from the movie set because the sabers are so cool! Now get ready QZ...cuz the cast are on pages 14-15 promoting the opening of Revenge Of The Sith at the Cannes Film Festival.... ...and Our stunning Natalie Portman is....BALD...for a new film she is in production on called "V Is For Victory". She's bald as a cueball on the red carpet with Hayden & Samuel L. Jackson. She still looks classy and pretty! Great photos too all thru the mag. One note...Ewan McGregor must be a real "card". He lists his PENIS as his favorite body part..and if you think he just has a randy sense of humor, Then also read the NEW issue of Esquire whcih has a Cover Story/Interview with Ewan McGregor who spends about a half dozen pages...NOT discussing Star Wars or his film career...but his er...rod and it's er...supposedly gargantuan size. When I read that Cover Story...well even if it IS...does he really need to spend an entire interview discussing that? Sounds like his ego is even bigger... ...and could give Bono a run for his money. What balls (no pun intended). I didn't find that sexy or interesting, just BIZARRE and incredibly obnoxious. The biggest thing about McGregor is apparently his inflated opinion of his er...package. |

Now you do the same in the personal forum. You have too much time on your hands because no matter what I post you jump down my throat, and excuse me but I'm not the only one posting Star Wars Topics...as the film premeired just this week. |

Last week. Lisser, Lester go off on me about my posting intelligent and respectful topics about Queen, yet once more no one went off about the SICK comments I got posted to my ONE topic on Queen this week. You all really do have way too much time on your hands. Not to mention I have watched all this week at leat a dozen topics in the personal forum, and in the other Queen forums...that are just fights between Qzoners, ban this person, get rid of that person, identity of nutcase revealed, etc. Case in point... Oh HERE"S a worthy topic, and in Queen serious discussion no less...I don't see you going off on this... link At least when I post a topic..it is a REAL topic with genuine thought for genuine discussion. |

George Henry...can't people post a REAL topic on QZ and NOT get any rude offensive bitchy remarks and crap. THAT is what ruins the boards. And I still cannot get over how many topics and posts are intentionally about offensive, bullying, porno, bigoted, rude, foulmouthed "dialogues" that have nothing to do with ANYTHING. |

you know.. I thought this was the PERSONAL section.. where we can post what we want.. I do remember there being a Queen section for both Serious and General discussions.. so you leave Arlene be, she is doing what she is allowed to do, post PERSONAL stuff in the PERSONAL section.. :P On a side note, I would like to say I am back for now.. I have another appointment next week and I think they will be giving me better meds, right now they just gave me a week supply of Zoloft. Back to Star Wars, wouldn't it have been funny if when Anakin returns to the Jedi temple to slay the younglings that the one that is talking to him actually peed his pants when Anakin ignites his lightsaber? and for those that haven't seen the movie yet.. SORRY.. but I had to say this now. |

Just kidding. But check out that US Weekly, several great spreads on the cast, and Ewan's er...interview/Cover Story in Esquire too! |

I'm going again this weekend, this time with my parents. |

Guys...I already posted on another Star wars topic that I am waiting for the crowds to die down. In my experience with big family film blockbusters like this, the first week there are a ton of screaming toddlers and babies (no offense out there to babies and toddlers) in the theater and I can't hear a damn thing. Worse than being at a rock concert with screaming women (no offense to women..as I am a woman and I do NOT scream and don't understand why any woman would rather hear herself than the band!) But I want the crowds to die down. I'm not paying some 10 bucks or more to hear the babies & toddlers go off. I want INTENSE quiet..and to enjoy the film thank you very much. So I will wait a week or so for the crowds to die down. It's only been open what, 6 days now. |

Just go early in the day, cheaper and less of a crowd. |
Megamike The GREAT 26.05.2005 19:09 |
alright, I can understand the money issue.. but when I went today I could swear there were less than 30 people in the theater, and that isn't just here. I don't know what it's like where you are but here they have it on 4 screens and I KNOW you can get in with hardly any people.. lol I remember seeing Phantom Menace at the midnight showing, it was sold out. and in fact the next 3 times I went to see it it was sold out as well.. and I only paid ONCE.. the other times were a Free ticket won from a radio station and the other was a friend treating.. :) |

Nuts! The longest I ever camped out was like 1 day for my 1st Allman Brothers concert. Can't believe people wait a MONTH... Don't they have jobs, a life! Wish I could just get the dough and waltz past those crowds right NOW! I want to see this as bad as the first trilogy films!!!! BTW....I used to have more memorabilia from the first trilogy than ANYONE...but several years ago some things came up and I had to sell it all. Broke my heart. I had everything...t-shirts galore, complete sets of trading/bubblegum cards, all 3 soundtracks on vinyl and CD, the videos, jewelry (an R2D2 necklace! and a Star Wars digital watch), cereal bowels, TONS of glossy photos, EVERY ORIGINAL magazine that covered them (Rolling Stone, Time, Starlog, all the sci-fi magazines), programs, the PBS/National Public Radio radio series with the original cast talking the story. Here's what really hurt. The VERY first thing that I ever won in my entire life...in 1977 my High School held a 24 hour dance marathon where each dancer got pledges to go to the March Of Dimes. I was the only person to last the whole 24 hours and I had the most pledges of charity money. I had no idea there was any prize as it was all for charity. I WON the soundtrack double vinyl album of Star Wars from doing that charity. I miss that album more than anything because of the many meaningful things it had for me. Mostly being Star Wars, and music, but it was the VERY 1st thing I ever won, (I was 15 at the time), and from helping a charity too. :( |
