Sorry if there's already a topic about this, I did search but found nothing really useful..
I download a lot of torrents, but also I try to download using Rapidshare, since some of the best concerts are shared on that. The only thing is that over the past week or so, everytime I try to download something of Rapidshare it says:
"This IP xxxxxxxxx is not allowed to use the free-service anymore today. We detected very extreme downloads. Don't worry! This has not to be your fault."
I haven't downloaded ANYTHING but I know that it could be because of proxy-servers.. my brother emailed Rapidshare because apparently the IP it's logging isn't actually our IP. We have a router and my brother thinks that may be the problem.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, has anyone here got a Premium Account, or does anyone here think it's worth it? Im willing to buy the 50 GB one (I think its 50 GB) but Im worried that they're gonna con me or something. Is it worth it?
I have the 10GB account. Totally worth. No need to wait an hour for a download, no wait between downloads. I pulled 2GB of files in two days. It would take infinity if I used free service. En fin, it's worth the money.
I came across a website which helps you get your own rapidshare premium account for free. it makes use of the 10000 rapidpoints conversion for Collector's login feature provided by RS poeple themselves, and IMO it is totally legal. So you get a RS account of your own, without stealing someone else's. Have a look here.
