Just received an email from ticketmaster saying that I can buy 2 Hyde park tickets for the price of 1 as compensation for the Wembley concert.
:-)
Offer does not apply to tickets already sold.
:-(
That's no good for me then (or many true fans I guess).
Humm!!! Maybe I will sell my ticket and buy 2 more using this offer. Looks like the only way I will get anything.
Yeah, got the e-mail asw ell... I have to say- I don't have the ticket yet, so... I'm gonna use it! Even better- my girlfriend didn't want to go, but when it turned out she'll have a tickt for free- she said yes :)
I'm glad somebody is able to make use of it.
It is a nice gesture. Just not one for everybody who had tickets for Wembley.
I just think it might have been better to give half price tickets and refund half the money of tickets already sold. But hey, I did have a better view than many at Wembley.
It just seems to me that a lot of people who were at Wembley will already have bought Hyde Park tickets.
I am also guessing from this that the Hyde Park Concert is some way from being a sellout at the moment.
Definitely a nice gesture for people who, unlike myself, flew over to the UK from the US just to see that show. I had a fun time *listening* to QPR play, though! Now, if the promoters included return London tickets...
Yes not much help for me either-I flew over for all the UK shows...reimbursement for my plane ticket to Belfast (we decided last minute to add that one on due to the aweful experience at Wembley..did not want to end our trip on a bad memory)
Nice gesture..they did not have to do anything about it.

any idea how many tickets are left for Hyde Park? cos my dads still not baught em yet and i really want to go!
Still a nice offer.
But should I ask Brian to pay half for my flight, hotel, bus, train, underground as well? :-)
Well... I'm considering it though. (the trip that is!)
Like most of you, I got my ticket when they first came out. I might still buy them as friends could not afford the full price, but they might want to go if they can get tickets half price.
It is a very nice offer, unfortunatley I bought my Wembley tickets from getmetickets.con -sorry-.com because ticketmaster had sold out in the first twenty minutes, so no 2 for 1 offer for me!
And the only way to get a decent ticket would be to go through gmt again and as we didn't receive our tickets 'till 19:55 on the night, I'm loathe to trust them again.
Awk

Dont trust the numbers. I read a Brian May interview, where he says that the capacity for hide PArk is 80.000 people because some citizens where complain about having 150.000 outside their homes. Has this situation changed?
Take care
