Hey i was watching this yesterday and i was watching the performance of staying power and halfway thru i realised that john deacon is not playing his bass guitar,it looks like a rhythm guitar but i might be mistaken but it definetly isn't a bass.
I wonder if he's done that on stage for other songs?
has anyone else notice when freddie gets out of the helicopter he is wearing a white vest with 'THE WORKS' on it 2 years before the album.
could this be were he got the name from or a 2 year advance notice of the album name.??

Good question, seems very weird, the scene is approximately by minute: 1:34.
Only explanation is that Rock In Rio or Magic Tour material was used for this. In CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD appaers an very similar/resemble helicopter in conclusion with Rock In Rio but as I can remember not the same pictures.
The support band on Brian's show in Moscow (November 7th 1998) was our local Russian folk-band - they played medley of Queen songs on balalaikas and other Russian folk instruments. It was amazing! When they were playing on those three strings pieces of wood 'Friends Will Be Friends' we all started to sing chorus without any requests. It was really great.

Nah, I don't think so. I ain't got the dvd, as it's not yet brought to my country, but I have an incomplete video from an mcm broadcast of this show... and Freddie is still wearing that white vest with THE WORKS written on it. It's quite unlikely MCM television had used footage from Rock In Rio, as the broadcast is labeled "live", so it must be from 1982, before Rock In Rio.
