Unbelieveable - no recording was made at the Irish dates?
So, everyone that has kept the faith with the low-quality sound on the downloads from the rest of the tour will now have an incomplete record of the bands European tour.
And, worst of all, no record of the best track that was included in the setlist for the whole tour "Fire And Water"......
Never ceases to amaze me......
It just makes ono sense at all, not to have a desk recording of the shows - even if it was just for band reference purposes.
Still, I'm sure that a quick word in the ear of a friendly crew member will get one of the board recordings in my sweaty little pals.....
I am so disappointed- Belfast was an add on for us for the tour since Wembley was a bust. Belfast was the best gig!!! Now I can't get a track from the show ;-(
That stinks.
yes - i agree it's very disappointing.
the Irish gigs - [particularly the BELFAST GIG] were sensational -- absolutely superb.
i am sure there will be a sound-desk version available sometime soon. I cannot believe they didn't record these shows.
Maybe a petition or collective letter to QOL would convince them to do so?
I don't usually swear in chat forums but...the fuckers!!!
I bought the blank CD eur11.22!! (that shows my dedication/stupidity for a start)and I was fully prepared to download every one of the files assuming that all songs would be covered at one gig or another and all gigs would have at least one song representing it.
Now there are several gigs not covered and songs missing that were on the setlists, and we have forked out for a CD which we were led to believe was an alternative to an official release and they are releasing Sheffield. They are even too afraid to give us one or two songs from that gig in case we don't stump up for the full CD /DVD deal.
I know nobody is forcing us to buy these products but still I have the bad feeling that somewhere along the line I have taken one up the arse without realising it!
Not very nice guys...shame on what was an otherwise v good tour experience.
There are no downloadable tracks from
Brixton
Milano
Budapest
Stockholm
Sheffield (DVD/CD)
Belfast (not recorded)
Dublin (not recorded)
So, not only tracks are missing to complete homemade tour CDs, also 7 concerts are not represented. In addition, Gallileo said on QOL that the upcoming Live compilation CD can well contain some of the same tracks that are already available for download. He said the tracks were chosen by the sound engineers and not by QP and that they never promised that the tracks would be QOL exclusives and not be sold on CD. Apparently, BoRhap shall be free for download in July, so you can wait till July to burn your CDs if you bought the blanks from QOL.
Again, they managed to rip off the most loyal fans in unprecedented way. This time I was not one of them - I had a feeling that the obscene price, the mean way in which they made people believe that the profit goes to the MPT, the useless format and the weird copy protection were not the only catches of this project.
