I LOVE that show so I was pissed just that they cancelled it. BUT...the final episode WTF! They Killed off one of the main and favorite (my favorite as well)characters, Chief Engineer "Trip" Tucker. Why kill him off if the show is cancelled? That's like killing off Spock (which doesn't count when they killed Spock in the film Wrath Of Khan because the producers were intentinally bringing him back in the next film). Then they have the nerve to write in some boring mumbo jumbo bringing in a subplot to have "guests" Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis from Star Trek The Next Generation..Now I loved that show too, but WHY and what was the purpose at all to bring them in, and then give LESS time to the characters of Enterprise, in a very important series finale when you want to see all the characters as much as possible for the last time...WTF? I cried anyhow. MORE so cuz the idiots killed Trip..who gave his life to save Captain Archer and the Federation..But I will miss that show very much and the actors, characters, and show deserved BETTER for the series finale. |

I was disappointed in the way they handled it, I mean come on, no one will notice that Riker has put on weight and that Troi's once FIRM breasts are a little on the saggy side... I surely didn't notice that.. ;-) WHen I heard that they were going to kill a major charactor I thought it would be Hoshi or Mayweather.. or maybe be as bold as killing Reed.. but NOT one of the core members. it was like an episode of ST:TNG instead of Enterprise. One can only wonder what they will come up with next.... |

The only thing that pisses me off is that they didn't cancel it before. |

Sorry, Arlene. It's really sad when a favorite show gets canceled. I really love Star Trek and was a fan of all the shows, except Enterprise. I never had the opportunity to get into it. Where I live, the UPN station went belly up--the local WB took up the slack, but then it also bit the dust. So it was over for me a long time ago. But I commiserate with you over your loss. |

I love Star Wars too Raf.. but face it.. TREK was first! Lets do the math.. there has been 6 Star Wars movies.. and 10 Star Trek movie with #11 on the way in 2006... there has been 6 television series of Star Trek including the animated series.. and the debate will forever continue as to which was better.. well... as far as I am concerned TREK RULES!!! Have you seen or heard of many Star Wars conventions? But Star TREK.. oh yeah.. TONS of them.. and oh yeah.. one more thing.. has there ever been a NASA ship called Millenium Falcon? I don't recall one.. but I do remember a Space Shuttle called.. ENTERPRISE! Lucas is a genius.. I give him that, Star Wars is a great franchise.. but Gene Roddenberry was better.. and even after his death in 1991 his legacy lives on. |

I'm pisssed of about not seeing it yet... But then agian, it's hardly a surprise, considering that I have to download every episode from the internet.

It's not cos it's sci-fi cos I love star wars and the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy but star trek, along with stargate, is pure shit!! Really awful!!I'm gonna have to agree with that one. The same reason why 'Scooby Doo' is so popular, although I have to say 'Scooby Doo' is far more shitty than 'Star Trek'. |

I hate Star Trek too and the whole sunculture around it! I'm more a Star Wars person...but i online like the movies and the games. |

Three (or possibly even four) good movies in 28 years is better than a few hundred episodes of good television series in the past 40 years? Maybe it's just me, but I just can't see that there is any match. :/ |

Well, I see this place is for the children of sci-fi.. ;-) so I will just take pleasure in saying that after talking with Marina Sirtis she told me that her and John Frakes came on Enterprise to save their asses, although it was too late.. she agreed with me that the final episode wasn't a great episode to end the series with, it would have made a great regular episode, but it had too much of a Next Gen feel to it. she is a lovely woman.. it was great meeting her and getting my pic taken with her. Oh I must say.. it was a pain in the ASS to crouch down like that for my photo with her, but she just wouldn't stand.. and my knees just about gave out on me. it looks like I am about to take a dump eh.. link And this is me and Dirk Benedict (Starbuck on the original Battlestar Galactica) he just signed my very rare Super8 film of Battlestar Galactica and was VERY impressed with it. link I wish I had someone that KNEW how to take pictures with me but I guess that is to be expected eh.. |
