Please tell me, did they play Breakthru? At least Dragon Attack? C´mon tell me, please... Did they play anything at all? :-))
Oh they did better than that! They did a version of Baraclona with John Deacon making a specal appearance as guest vocalist... Now that really pisses me off.
Just back from Belfast.
I pity anyone who has missed a show in this tour. I had my reservations but that was fucking unbelievable. Fantastic performance, Roger and Brian were great and Paul is a fantastic frontman.
One things for sure, I'll be at Hyde Park....
Wish I could go to Dublin tomorrow. No one to go with!
I'll not list all the songs, but they played:
Another One Bites the Dust
A Kind of Magic
A FULL version of '39
Under Pressure
The Show Must Go On
I cant remember how long they played for, but it was AGES. My mate rekoned it was 2 and a half hours...
So i'll guess they played as follows:
Reaching Out
Tie Your Mother Down
I Want To Break Free
Fat-Bottomed Girls
Wishing Well
Another One Bites The Dust
Under Pressure
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Say It's Not True
'39 (Are you really sure they played a FULL version?)
Love Of My Life
Hammer To Fall
Feels Like Making Love
Let There Be Cars / I'm In Love With My Drum
Guitar Solo / Last Horizon
These Are The Days Of Our Lives
Radio Ga-Ga
Can't Get Enough Of Your Love
A Kind Of Magic
I Want It All
Bohemian Rhapsody
--------------------------------------------------
The Show Must Go On
All Right Now
We Will Rock You
We Are The Champions
Am i right? ;)

Does that make Belfast the gig with most songs?
Do you mean this for real or are you just kidding? I didn't really expect them to play FIRE AND WATER after they not even seemed to rehearse that one. If it's really true i hope there will be some download soon :)
Fantastic!
I had a feeling deep in my bones that Belfast was gonna smoke! Birthplace of Van Morrison, after the Wembley debacle. It all lined up tonight. I sure hope a boot of this goes around.
You watch Brian put a comment up on his soapbox about this gig.
Brian also made a commment along the lines of "and now for 3 and a half hours of traditional folk music" when he picked up the acoustic to do '39, which was quite funny. He seemed in a good mood the whole gig.

Are you sure he didn't say minutes? That would match ;)
The belfast show was fantastic. Only got to see Brian in the Ulster Hall in Belfast once before so nice to see him and Roger perform Queen. :) The show was 2 hours 30 (started about 8.40 and onto 11.10). I think the crowd probably would have enjoyed the 3 and a half hours of traditional folk if it was brian playing :) Loved his full version of '39 too. I thought Paul would be singing more songs than he did but Roger and Brian sang well too I though.
