Yesterday I watched Simon & Garfunkle in Central Park DVD. Yay! It was very fun. It was interesting that I watched it on the computer and then later that day, Dad brought home a DVD player! We haven't tried it yet...

Eat your heart out Freddie Mercury!
LOL! Just a tad of sarcasm I detect. I do like Simon & Garfunkle a bit though. More so in my childhood years.
Hey...you think Art & John (Deacon) have the same hairdresser!

Paul Simon hated it despite the fact that he wrote it. The reason? Its all because Art Garfunkel got all the plaudits for it which got up Paul's nose so much that when they played Central Park in the early 80's, he left the stage when it came on.

Whether Paul Simon wants to admit it, yes I know he writes all the songs...BUT Garfunkle has the incredible VOICE and talent to interpret them.
I hate Paul Simon's solo stuff. he's a great writer but he can only sing like crap. He's a petty jealous idiot who broke up an amazing duo partnership.

However, I was glad to see that on the 'Old Friends reunion tour' last year, they put a guitar part in, so short-arse stayed on stage and played and di backing vocals. Top-notch stuff!

Liam Gallagher performs with his hands inside his pockets, too. He's not half as good as Art though.

I LOVE Simon's voice, so we'll just have to agree to disagree on that, but some partnerships just weren't meant to last. When personalities conflict too much it goes downhill really fast - better to end it fast before fists really start flying.
i love simon & garfunkel, i think paul simon is one of the best song writers ever, i saw them in hyde park in july last year, they are still brilliant.

I love The Boxer by the way. And the Sound of Silance. And....
I think Garfunkle is hilarious with the hands in his pockets. Ever notice the way he bites his lip all the time? :)
HEllo dougbrown I just had to say one of my best friends is named Douglas Matthew Brown. He's actually mostly Scottish I think. Are you?
