Many people talk about DRAGON ATTACK being rehearsed and i just read about ONE VISION being performed during the soundcheck in Pesaro... Are there more songs known to be rehearsed so we maybe could have a chance on them to be played live when it comes to the outdoors? And of course, is there anyone out there to confirm both of above to be rehearsed so that it's not only another kind of rumour? |
Jjeroen 12.05.2005 11:00 |
One Vision, Dragon Attack for sure. Rumours: Breakthru, Innuendo, The Miracle |
onevsion 13.05.2005 11:05 |
wishfull thinking: sleeping on the sidewalk ;-) |
DeaconJohn 13.05.2005 12:21 |
One vision and dragon attack would both be very welcome additions to the setlist! |
another one diets the bust 13.05.2005 15:17 |
As it seems there are no more confirmed rehearsals, where could ONE VISION or DRAGON ATTACK be added to the setlist? The MAGIC-tour opened with ONE VISION followed by TIE YOUR MOTHER DOWN. This would mean it could as well replace REACHING OUT, with the synth-intro playing from tape. DRAGON ATTACK surely would be played somewhere around WISHING WELL and ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST i guess. SLEEPING ON THE SIDEWALK most probably would enter the set list near the acoustic ones. What do you think? |
Mr.Jingles 13.05.2005 15:29 |
'Dragon Attack' would be a waste if 'AOBTD' is already included. 'Sleeping On The Sidewalk' is too dull, rather have 'A Kind Of Magic' again. Have they rehearsed 'It's Late'? |
another one diets the bust 13.05.2005 15:50 |
So you would substitute ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST for DRAGON ATTACK? That might be an option. I don't like SLEEPING ON THE SIDEWALK that much either, but at least they already performed it some time before the start of the tour. I know many of us would go mad for IT'S LATE but they obviously ignored prevailing requests. But who knows who posted their requests for songs on the QPRHP? Probably they all just voted for some of the hits and nothing on. I almost think so. |

It seems as they didn't rehearse anything but the songs they already played plus ONE VISION and DRAGON ATTACK. At least no one yet states other songs to be rehearsed. Didn't anybody get any notice of what they performed during the soundchecks? |
Daveboy35 14.05.2005 02:49 |
I think that with the outdoor gigs there will be more songs shifted around i can't see DRAGON ATTACK being played unless they reintroduce NOW I'M HERE personally. |
Scirocco1977 14.05.2005 06:52 |
Paul did state in an interview that he tried to sink his teeth into Innuendo and World we Created! So that must have been rehearsed! |
Q-Nick 14.05.2005 06:57 |
Fire And Water perhaps, considering its introduction last night. |

Grantcdn 15.05.2005 00:19 |
Brian and Jaime have done Sleeping On The Sidewalk and Sail Away Sweet Sister....it would be nice to bring that back....Otherwise hoping for It's Late, Breakthru, and White Man (since Brian's played around with it in the intro to Fat Bottomed Girls... |
Hankster 15.05.2005 11:35 |
Robert Plant's Innuendo sucks big time :P I'm totally sure they WON'T play Innuendo at the summergigs .. it's a shame .. but the song is just too difficult to play live properly |

Where the fuck is Somebody To Love ? I mean, Paul can easily sing it, except for the last high parts (but he can let the crowd do that) I would love to hear Innuendo (only the guitarsolo would do it for me), but it is very difficult. What's with Dragon Attack? It was not a hit, a Brian AOBTD-lookalike attempt, and extremely boring. If you want something heavy, do Headlong, Princes Of The Universe (a lot of people like that one (personally I'm not fond of it), especially non-queenfans (who saw Highlander)), Breakthru, I Was Born To Love You (Paul can't sing that either by the way), well, we saw a lot lists. My main point is: Add songs from the last 3 or the first 4 albums, but not Dragon Attack, Put Out The Fire or bleeding Tear It Up or something... |

I agree with you that they should add songs from last 3-4 albums. Innuendo would be great ( also only solo), breakhtru, headlong...it would be so great to hear |

I think MAN ON THE PROWL would be some nice one if it's for something from the 80s. Or LAS PALABRAS DE AMOR if QPR should take a short trip to South America ;) Edit: I Posted this as far i was not expected to suggest something common to most of the i-only-know-their-greatest-hits-fans. |

I'd like to see them do a few more from they solo albums Roger songs: - Strange Frontier – I think this would work well on acoustic Man on Fire Old Friends - acoustic Brain songs:- Resurrection Let me out However, a few more Queen Songs like: - Now I’m here Headlong Sail Away Sweet Sister - acoustic Dragon Attack (one of my favourite songs) Play the Game Sleeping on the Sidewalk Keep Yourself Alive Doing All Right - acoustic No One But You |
another one diets the bust 19.05.2005 17:43 |
Yeah, RESURRECTION could work really great. When it was far before the tour i put a setlist somewhere suggesting them to open with THE DARK into RESSURECTION. |

Too many songs for one show...but yeah, not bad at all. Actually I don't like "Play The Game" much and hardly they will play that. "Innuendo", "No One But You" and...hmm, let's say "You Don't Fool Me" (never played live - could work) are my top wishes for summer gigs. After all I respect artists choices 'cos I luv that Q+PR stuff... |
Q-Nick 20.05.2005 05:07 |
I'd actually prefer solo songs to be kept to a bare minimum. |
