You can download AOBTD from the Cardiff gig on this link: link
It's a heavier version which I think is great. Paul also interacts with the crowd!!
Enjoy and judge for yourself.
Why are they doing this? They've got...and I quote Brian May from Cardiff..'one of the best blues singers ever, ever, ever' and they're making him do AOBTD?
Where the hell is It's Late...of KYA or Liar?
I think it's fucking great. On this tour Paul has proven that's he much more than just a "blues" singer.
I was skeptical that Paul could handle it and I'm very surprised how it turned out. It's unlike anything Paul has ever sang on.
In fact it's the best download I've spent money on thus far.
I was so burnt out on AOBTD and Q+PR has breathed new life into for me.
i just downloaded the birmingham version. its good but personally i dont think he puts any effort into it because his voice doesnt sound right singing low notes i think. but im not hating on the guy dont worry!
That's why I love this version of AOBTD. Heavier sound with Paul's interpretation..even if he sings it in a lower key! This song has always sounded better live IMHO.
One of my favourite Queen songs from this tour's set list even though I didn't think it would suit Paul at all. An unexpected gem and a great surprise.
Think it will stay in the set for the Irish gigs..preferably as an encore as in Cardiff.
