A bit different but genuine setlist - Bohemian Rhapsody is included surprisingly quite early, Impromptu is very unusual and includes bits and pieces from Get Down Make Love and they did NOT play Friends Will Be Friends. Very good or better quality. Freddie also states that "This is a start of our new American, no, European tour, right" :-) Source: link It's not the best quality but hey... I don't care I'm sharing whatever I want :P |

This looks great ! I think we should all share MP3 files because it's smaller. (DON'T SCREAM YET ! :P) Still, the Fairstars Converter gives you the chance to convert them in almost every format you want including FLAC Lossless so I think downloading MP3s, and then converting them to FLAC would save us time, no ? Not only time, but Disk Space and for those who have Download Limits, like me, it would not exceed the limit as quickly as it does now... It is just an opinion...and a solution. PS : The Fairstars Converter can be downloaded at link It is a shareware but there are so many sites where you can download serial numbers. There are plenty of sites so I guess it is not illegal in spite of everything we may think. One of them is called link. It's been running for at least 10 years I think. By saying it is not illegal, I guess I don't use the right word but since no one takes legal charges against that site or any other site with Cracks and Serial Numbers, I think it is not really wrong... They just try to improve their product so those kinds of site won't work anymore. For exemple, Apple is really great with that. We can't use any number as it doesn't work at all. Same thing with Norton Antivirus 2005...So you see ? I hope this all helped you. Dan. |

In reply to the MP3 converting stuff, I'm using Switch Audio Converter® Plus, available at link and it works great. !I LOVE SHARING! |

Downloading serials is indeed quite illegal, so I urge you to please edit your post. And I can't really see the sense of converting MP3 back into FLAC. The quality has already been lost when the original file was converted to MP3, hasn't it? I'm lame when it comes to the technical stuff, humour me. V. |
Dany Mercury 07.05.2005 16:44 |
Does it convert ACC files ? Fairstars Converter doesn't do that unfortunately... The guy (I'm absolutely sorry I forgot his name by heart) who uploaded the Queen Live files (19 Concerts) uploaded 2 or 3 concerts in ACC format and I can't convert them... Do you have an idea how to do that ? |

If it is illegal, then why has the site been running for years and years ? If it is indeed really illegal, then I will edit the post... But the site's on the internet...and has been for more than 10 years. |

Do you have an idea how to do that ?I don't think it does... It does AAC don't know if you mean that? Anyway you can download a shareware version, but you can upgrade it to Plus and then you've got other options (you'll have to pay for it like I did if you want it). |
Dany Mercury 07.05.2005 16:47 |
By the way, quality is never completely lost in any way... There's always a way to increase it. Try Fairstars before saying so...then decice. :P |
Dany Mercury 07.05.2005 16:54 |
Maybe it was AAC or ACC I'm not sure but I'll check that out. Thank you ! PS : I don't really care about paying or not, I just wanted to help by saying sites with serial numbers existed...though we all know that, right ? :P |
Fat Lizzy 07.05.2005 16:59 |
Well you can convert the AAC files with Switch, also someone mentioned M4A fiels... Switch converts those too. Hope you guys enjoy this one, it's great! |
Dany Mercury 07.05.2005 17:12 |
I think I found a free one... link It's written download it for free... I have yet to try it but looks fine... Oh, and it's called WavePad's Master Edition. Dan. |
TheGame 07.05.2005 17:17 |
Is this the same bootleg as the "Beginning of the end" version? |
Fat Lizzy 07.05.2005 17:18 |
Yes ofcourse... There's only one concert in Stockholm, and it's called Beginning of the End because it's the first concert from the Magic Tour... And as you know that's the last tour so... Beginning of the End :P |
TheGame 07.05.2005 17:25 |
I know this ofcourse, but i've heard there are different versions of this concert. The only way to find out is by downloading it ofcourse. Thanks for sharing! |
Fat Lizzy 07.05.2005 17:34 |
Checked it out for you, and it is the "Beginning of the End" version. |

Yes, downloading serials for programs you don't rightfully own is illegal, no matter how it's worded. How these sites state that they aren't illegal is that the serials are for people that have bought the program, but have lost the serial number for it. Of course that doesn't prevent someone from either copying or downloading a pirated copy of a program and using the serials site for that. What you suggest with the shareware audio program is illegal since you or anyone else that downloads it and doesn't pay for (and just merely uses a downloaded serial) is hurting the author of the program. And besides, it is a waste of time to bother converting them to FLAC since the quality loss already happened with the MP3 conversion and cannot be recovered from the MP3. |
Fat Lizzy 07.05.2005 18:48 |
Ontopic would be nice too... No thank you no nothing, only talking about downloading illegal serials :( |
Dany Mercury 07.05.2005 19:28 |
1) Well of course, if you see it this way, it is illegal but it is still legal for me to tell you it exists...no ? 2) You can increase the quality (I do not say that my program does) of any recording. This is a fact. I guess it is quite expensive to have a program that can do this perfectly...but it exists. 3) Anyway, I always prefered MP3s. I don't like WinAmp, so I can't really listen to them. I convert them to MP3s and listen to them this way. I understand that a lot of people prefer FLAC but not me. These are bootlegs so the quality is never as great as a studio version, right ? :P 4) And to go back to the serial numbers and the programs, I don't think that the people that go there are all people that lost their serial numbers. For exemple, I lost the serial number of my Windows XP (English Version) and it's impossible for me to get another that works. Official CDs have one and only number (usually, not always) that works once. I can't find aother number for my Norton Antivirus 2004 too. My friend tried and he couldn't. But mine worked so I gave it to him. Most people go there because it is free. I think if they really wanted to make it right, then the serials would have to be bought. Don't you agree ? :) 5) And there's a special thank you I have to give ! Thank you for the program you mentioned, thank you for your generosity, thank you for your patience in putting your files here, thank you for uploading all the concerts (especially this one here) and thank you for still continuing to upload despite the lack of thank you's. I won't mention the person I'm thanking because he will recognize himself anyway...:P |

Is this the same version that I uploaded a week ago? Or is it a different recording cause there are two recordings of this concert. The Beginning Of The End and Magic In Stockholm. |

I have already shared this, but it can't be shared enough :P It's a great concert with excellent sound quality |

Dany Mercury wrote: By the way, quality is never completely lost in any way...Well, you are absolutely WRONG! If you use lossy formats, the quality of the source is indeed "lost" forever. That is why the compression methods are differentiated in "lossy" and "lossless" in the first place. For example, most high-frequency harmonics are cut - in a way in which the original information can never be recovered! Do not get fooled by some software vendors who claim that their software would "carefully" regenerate/interpolate the missing data. That is bull*h*t!!! ...And don't get me started about the stereo field narrowing! Of course most recordings can be enhanced using techniques that are available in a lot of software applications, but better results are ALWAYS achieved if them are not compressed or compressed using "lossless" methods. |

The eternal battle of MP3 vs. FLAC? I guess there's mainly two kinds of people on this forum: 1. the ones who just want to enjoy the great music through fairly small downloads and 2. those who want to get one-of-a-kind live recordings and archive them in their original and best quality. I prefer the lossless formats, such as FLAC, but to each his own. The reason I go for lossless audio is because I want to retain these invaluable recordings in their original and best quality, and let's face it: if you, for example, could get a commercial CD release for free, would you pick a CDR with an Xeroxed cover in black and white or the real deal sold in stores? (No, I'm not condoning bootlegging official releases - this was just an example) ;-) The ultimate and best option, I think, would be two separate downloads of the torrents shared here: one in mp3 format, and another one in FLAC. Or at least two separate forums - one for lossy audio and one for lossless. What do you think? Don't get me wrong though. I'm thrilled and very grateful for all the rare live recordings shared here, lossless or not, but it seems like a lot of people don't know what FLAC and lossless audio is... Some quick facts can be found here, if interested in learning more about it: link Rant over. Cheers and thanks for the great upload, Rev! |

I found a programme called "magix audio cleaning lab" , they say they can improve low bitrate mp3's (a bit). Will try it out this evening and see what the results are. If it's really working, I'll let you know. If this works to get those low coded mp3's to a reasonable quality for CD-burning, I'll have some work to do this coming week :-) to be continued... :-) |
Simmen 09.05.2005 05:41 |
Thanks for sharing this great gig! |
proton 09.05.2005 12:41 |
no luck :-( the programme can improve the sound, but the distortion from low bitrate mp3's can't be cleaned/improved ... |

proton wrote: no luck :-( the programme can improve the sound, but the distortion from low bitrate mp3's can't be cleaned/improved ...You 'enhanced' the 'distortion', right? That is EXACTLY the stuff I was referring to. |
proton 10.05.2005 07:10 |
dunno if it's enhanced really, but it stays. The programme is great though for polishing clean recordings without distortion, pushing up guitar or vocals etc. I'll keep it anyway :-) |

What, instead of making their own? I have no major objection to mp3 concerts on here, but the suggestions on page one of this thread are risible. If you have software that can take an mp3 file, figure out what was taken out when it was converted and PUT IT BACK, then you'd be a millionaire this time next week. If you really believe this is possible, fine - prove it...show us the analysis of your un-lossy ex-mp3 file. |
bohemianmoomin 31.08.2007 15:47 |
Where is the lossless version?? Of course I'd rather have that...FLAC attack wins! |

Yup, thats the link. There are also two others sources available, more info: link This new source from master tape is not better in my ears, but that might be the headphones fault. Ofcourse, this is only my personal opinion. |
