I recently got the queen cd 'Queen'. I looked at the song list and saw that there was 'seven seas of rhye' on it. Having heard that song a million times i didn' put it on. when i finally did listen to it, i discovered that it was different. Slower and no singing. Does anybody no what this is all about.
Ahem.... Well... This is Seven Seas Of Rhye. Instrumental version from album Queen. And there is Seven Seas Of Rhye from Queen II. It contains vocal, longer and was released as a single.
To be honest, I don't know how to answer on this.
'Queen' ended with a teaser of the song.
'Queen II' was supposed to begin with the "full" version to create a kind of link between albums.
This, obviously, did not happen.
For info about any other versions you'd find when you'd get more Queen albums go to Adam's link
But when you'd get CD where would be studio version of 'Hangman' on it let us know
Also I think the Queen II album has the word "The" on the beginning of the song title...so we have:
Seven Seas Of Rhye...
and
The Seven Seas Of Rhye
Who knows if those are printed right on the Hollywood CDs though. And of course Hollywood screwed up and printed the lyrics in the first Queen CD lol
