Show Must Go On was NOT played! unfortunatly :(
Mr. Scully wrote: So where is "Sunshine Of Your Love"? Was it played or not?
Yes, in a way - but I think it was a kind of joke - BM started the riff (immediately after coming on stage for the encore). RT joined in, then PR started the vocals,at which case BM stopped! So I think he (BM) was just messing around initially and did not really expect the band to join in.
After 'Sunshine' folded, PR said something like "that was obviously unrehearsed then" and BM came over to him and whispered something - they laughed.
So I took 'Sunshine' to be what it probably was - just messing around. It would not take a great deal of rehearsal to make it useable; but why would they want to? I liked the spontaneity of it anyway.
Mr. Scully wrote: What was the intro? Did they keep the techno remix of It's A Beautiful Day? Somebody also told me they didn't play Lose Yourself anymore!
Nope, they did play Lose Yourself and the Beautiful Day remix. As well as Wishing Well and Sunshine before the encore. Also I don't know if this happened at every concert but during Brian's solo there was a video rushing through London and eventually reaching the top of Buckingham Palace so Brian could recreate 2002
"Nope, they did play Lose Yourself and the Beautiful Day remix. As well as Wishing Well and Sunshine before the encore"
So same as usually - Beautiful Day, then the lights go off, Eminem's Lose Yourself with additional Brian's guitar riffs near the end and Reachin' Out follows?
ok then, when the band came on after the encore, they "messed" about should i say with sunshine, then PR and BM said some stuff to each other and laughed,, then PR said to the crowd "it was alright then and its ALRIGHT NOW!" and cue BM on guitar! this is the song which PR gave me the thumbs up! that i cant forget!
