Anyone knows Wembley? Where could queenzoners meet :) I'm from London but have never been there, so... Anyone?
Once we'll decide where (and when)- I'll edit this post!
I'll ask differently-
who's coming to London for the gig? I got e-mail from Thomas (wegotit)- he'll be there, he's up for the beer. That's two of us, none of us know any pubs around. Anyone care to join us and have some fun before long queuing?
Try the JJ Moons in Wembley High Road.
It's not far from Wembley Central station and about 15 mins walk from the venue.
I'll be there meeeting some mates anyway.,

I'm tempted, as long as you can stand me !
Not the prettiest sight :-)

I found a place, actually, that I think might be closer -- it's called The Torch, and it's perhaps nearer to Wembley, as it's at Bridge Rd, Wembley
HA9 9AB.
I put up this post a couple days back:
OK, I don't see anyone with a *specific* place to meet before Wembley, so here's one, and it would be great if we could all meet there.
The Torch
1 - 5 Bridge Road, Wembley, Greater London HA9 9AB Tel. 020 8904 5794
Here's a link with a map: link
According to some of these websites, the Wembley area isn't big on lots of great pubs, but this is one that's a couple blocks away from Wembley and it has food and outside seating, smoking and Brian-friendly nonsmoking.
Let's meet there in the afternoon, say 2pm onwards, depending on how much one can imbibe?
email me at danielmnester at hotmail dot com or forward this post to others. This place looks big enough to handle a good amount.
Or, you know, we could meet at the other place.
Love and rock,
Daniel Nester
I'm working on Wed, so I'm not even leaving St Albans till half five, but I'll try and get for a beer or two beforehand, I remember what you look like Fenderek!
I'm quite shy and will probably approach the wrong people, so is there any way of knowing who I'm looking out for.
I'll be arriving at around 15.30 on Wednesday.
I'm working until 5 or 6pm (unless someone is going to make my day) and I'm not going to concert, but I plan to show up anyway as I will get some merchandise (t-shirt with new logo and tour dates on back is what I want). I guess by the time I get there there will be no one in pub :)
THE TORCH it is than!!!
After Cardiff disaster and nothing in Sheffield I thought Birmingham was the last meeting :)
See You guys there!!! Will be with my girlfriend (probably- she's really ill...), don't know what time though...
We have seats, I don't plan on queues. As Queen haven't started till half eight, I don't plan on getting to the Pavillion before eight. I won't get to Wembley before half six though!
As well- sitting (isn't everybody?) and no way I'm gonna queue for hours (have enough after last five gigs :) ). But IO'm gonna wear Dream Theater, not Paul Rodgers t-shirt. And am really not sure what time will I arrive- definitelly not 2-3, later. My girlfriend is ill and nothing's sure yet...
Sorry I missed it, got to Wembley around 6.45 and went to a Sports Bar near the venue, had a quick scout for the pub, but I think it was back up the hill and we went down the hill instead.
Glad you had a good one though.
