DAB Digital Radio station Planet Rock (also available on SKY channel 861) will feature interviews with Brian and Roger this week, along with exclusive live tracks recorded on the new tour.
Apparently, Roger, who will be interviewed on Wednesday (4th May) will be discussing JOHN's decission not to join the group, and is VERY honest (interview is probably pre-recorded then).
Brian will be on Thursday.
Tune in at approximately 11.15am for the features on DAB digital Radio or SKY channel 861).

thanks!just started listening to this channel - its fantastic!never heard of it before. thanks again! :-D
I've just heard that the interview with Roger was done after the Hamburg show and as Planet Rock's Nicky Horne said Roger Sounded "Very unhappy" at John Deacon!! Sounds juicy!!!
Its on after 11am UK time as DLR already stated.
Roger is "disappointed" with John's decision to just "stay at home and get the cheques".
He said "we'd love to have you on the tour cos you're our bass player."but John's decided to have a quiet life, He doesn't want to be a bass player anymore or even a musician anymore.
Brian and Roge "respect" that decision.
Hey, i can´t see the interview because i´m in Portugal and i have to pay for the exceeded downloads ( my limit is 2GB international).
Just one question:
What have Roger said about John Deacon?
Take care
Roger says he sent John a note/letter asking John to play bass on the tour, because Brian & Roger still think of him and want him as Queen's bass player. But John said no that John no longer wants to play bass or even be a musician anymore. John also replied that he "approves" of the tour or as Roger states "what he & Brian are doing" and it's ok by John. But John wants to stay retired and only be involved from a stirctly business level quoting Roger "signing the checks".
Roger said he was VERY dissapointed at John's decision, but very respectful of it as well.
Great interview by the way, as I almost never get to hear or read ROGER do in depth elaborta einterviews. Brian usually does the in depth interviews & Roger doens't usually talk so in detail. He sounded most enthused by the success and fan's attitudes/reception towards the tour. Also Roger was exceptionally pleased that a whole NEW generation of fans, 20 yaers old and under, many who were never even born when Queen stopped touring and who have never seen Queen tour, are turning out in droves on the Queen+Paul Rodgers Tour...and he seemed ecstatic at that. That Queen has found a whole new fan base, of young people/teens along with their original fan base.
Its just unfortunate that I missed the full Paul Rodgers one :( But then I didnt know it was on but hey at least I got the rest. Also, if you go to Thomas Zeidler's site ( link ) you will get the interview he did with Danny Miranda which was broadcast recently - a very good interview as well.
I spent most this morning listening to the entire interviews, including with the crew as well. Great stuff. Quite informative. Nice to hear Roger open a bit. And the intreview with Queen's sound engineer Trip was a cool treat!
I enjoyed these, thanks for sharing them. I was surprised by two things...
1. The poor transmission quality of "digital radio"
2. How differently mixed the live tracks are - out front I can barely hear Roger behind Spike/Jamie/Danny, on the recordings it's the other way round...

The sound you hear from this files isnt exactly the sound you hear from the original broadcast. Heres something I put in a reply in another thread:-
The correct lineage for these files is fom Sky broadcast (channel 861) to VHS tape (except for the Brian interview which went straight to cassette tape as I happened to be in the house at the time), then to cassette tape and finally onto hard drive using Cool Edit Pro to save the files as Wave. I then used MusicMatch to convert them to MP3. Incase you are wondering, using cassette to transfer the files to HD was the only method open for me.
