First of all : I attended the Stockholm gig and it was FANTASTIC! The best I've been to..
But:
Why dont they have a big screen above the stage as in 1986. It's a big mistake to not have it! If you sit far from the stage you dont see the crucial details : Face expressions of the musicians, how they play etct... This can mean A LOT to many concertgoers!!
What do u think ?
I have no problems with it, as far I can tell.
I was at the gig in Rotterdam, and saw everything quite good. And I think the last show in Arnhem will even be better!
back in 1986 .. Queen didn't have a big screen at the smaller indoor venues (the kind of venues where they play now too)
Í'm pretty sure they'll have a big screen this summer..especially at Hyde Park
I know it was larger venues back then but still... I know quite a few people missed that at Globen... I attended a Elton John gig in Norway with 9000 people, he had a large screen and it helped A LOT...
We fans are at the front so we see them good.... but for the sitting audience it will help very much with a screen...
it just a tip really, and I think they should have it...
Those things cost a lot of money, most concerts I been to never had that, only once have I seen a big screen and it was only used for pre-programed clips, and nothing live, hell even both shows at Sir Paul's concerts didnt have any big screens, this was at Arrowhead staduim in KS which seats about 65,000 for a rock concert, Paul was mostly a blur =)
Actually... arrowhead holds about 80,000. (I live in kansas city)
Around 1/4 to 1/3 was closed off, as you could not sit behind the stage or past the side of the stage, I remember that it was sold out, and was in the 60,000 range, that went for both nights, the shows were in 1993 if I remember correctly
Great town, love the BBQ shop
