I've heard people complain about almost every filmed gig.I've heard such comment about:the released wewbley,hammersmith'75,earls court, hyde park, rainbow(overdubs),rock in rio and now even houston.what should they release then?only budapest?I think some people should be happy with what exists on video and not complain about what doesn't!
I don´t know about you, but i think Rock in Rio has a poor sound quality. I mean, you can barely hear Brin´s guitar and i don´t think they could fix the sound for the DVD. It´s like "I want it all" at the Tribute DVD- The guitar sound Just doésn´t rock...
Take care

And they didn't fix it actually. At least on the version I have.
I know what you mean about rock in rio.the quality of recordings fluctuates, even when it are professional ones!I think that the sound of the tribute-dvd is nowhere near as good as on fire at the bowl altough it was recorded ten years later!
i'm really happy with the live-dvds that have been released. Now hammersmith'79 would be great and of course the dvd from this tour.
The could definitely sort out the audio for Budapest if they go back to the multitracks. I think MK sounds crap... sounds over compressed and processed.... like theyre trying to tart up a crap recording.... i prefer the mix on the original tv broadcast.
