What a great, great show! One of the best concerts I've ever been to. However, the audience was pretty damn boring. Only in Sweden, my friends...
Anyway - I loved every minute of the concert. If I had enough money, I would definitely go to more than one Queen + Paul Rodgers show this spring.
Cheers,
Peter
well the set list ... who cares =) the show was ... i cant find the words for it right now .... queen was amazing so was the crowd I want it all maked the globe rocked !! queen is still the champions of the world. what a night we wil rock you forever
"the audience was pretty damn boring"
What's wrong with a bunch of 60-year-olds? :)
I was amazed that Globen was almost full. I pretty much thought it would be me, my hubby and few other but I was wrong. I am glad I was. It wasn't a bad concert - althought in the beginning Roger looked like he was going to a wedding instead of being a drummer in a rock band.
My hubby who's seen Queen twice before was very satisfied so I suppose it was an okay concert.
I have been to many concerts through the years : The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Toto, Tori Amos, Aha, Dream Theater, Rammstein, Mannfred Mans earthband... and many more... Queen in Stockholm last night was the best thing I've ever attended. I cant really describe how it felt standing right in front of the stage.... (pictures will follw..)
Too many things in my head right now-!
In the area where I stood:
-Before the concert I got to know some people... One was probably I metallover in the Metallica vain.. he said that we'd to remember that it wasnt Fred and we had to settle down our expectations et.ct.. After a couple of minutes I turned to him, and he said he was blowned away and he stayed that the rest of the gig... Nice guy by the way...
Two guys beside me was also from Norway and was in shock... we just stared at each other... it was the best we had seen...
After the gig a lot of girls cried their eyes out...
What a night!
Gotta go, will be back!!
Ojojoj, By the time I was born (1984), queen with freddie were on their last dance... I never thought the day would come when I'd see them live, for me, freddie my childhood idol - lived strong in globen.
I was right in front of the "catwalk", had my red bandana on, and I rocked! As did we all! oh yessss asså! Oh yeah!!!
yeah it was great, It was a really hot concert. And being there near the stage didn't made it worser. Oh, these guys can really rock, and Paul was much better then I expected, which was great off course.
I't was an amazing concert - I went all the way from Denmark by car, about 600 km, and it was worth it.
THEY ROCKED !!!
I was very surprised that Globen was almost full, and that the crowd was so different - both younger and older people.
And Paul Rogders was really good. He had a lot of respect for the songs and wasn't trying to be Freddie.
I really hope they're finding their way to Scandinavia again and hopefully around Copenhagen
but I think that Roger must be much better if his best days shall come. His voice have been better. And so good as some people said that Roger was wasn't he.
