Just a small torrent (+50MB) from the Brian May interview before the Rotterdam gig.
In this part Brian is interviewed but walks away twice because the interviewer is really annoying him. (He only wants to talk about Bohemian Rhapsody and not about the tour)
Brian is tired of it and finally walks out.
(well done, Brian!)
MPG taken from DVD-recorder.
I know this interview can be seen online at the Dutch Twee Vandaag website, but this mpg has a bigger image. Dutch voice-over, dutch subtitles, but Brian speaks english of course! :-)
you will notice how polite Brian stays.
(except the "throw-away" move he makes at the end)
Quite funny to watch actually, good to see him leaving that loser of an interviewer.
Imagine you get 10 minutes to talk to Brian!
Firstly you sure would welcome him in your country and congratulate him with this tour, but no...
The interviewer should have known to be cafeful what he was going to say by what Brian said before the interview even started. Good on him though as I'm sure they would like the questions to be interesting for once. Instead the same old questions. Wonder what he will be saying on his soapbox about it.
Thanks again Rien. Saw this earlier on the actual site but I prefer this clip as you dont have to sit through the other nonsense thats shown just before the Brian clip.
I'm from Holland and i'm ashamed of this dutch interviewer...jesus what a joker! I can't believe they've done this. Anyway Brian did the right thing to walk away from it, I think. I probably would have walked away the first time though. Brian May surely is a nice guy!
When I first read it on his soapbox (which was before the actual showing), I thought it would be a huge error by Brian to walk out like that.
But after seeing the clip I have seen that he did answer some questions about BoRhap, and only after that showed the fact that he was annoyed.
On his soapbox he mentioned the fact that he was annoyed already when he asked the first thing about BoRhap, but he manages to disguise this very well, which is a good thing.
If only he didn't 'wave away' the reporter in the end, it would have been a perfect walkout :)
