Is there anyway to remove t-shirt transfers, like washing them in over 40c - what happens if you do that? Does some of it come off?
It's just a t-shirt transfer of mine went wrong, and so I can't really wear it. Do you think it is possible to put a slightly bigger transfer over the old one?
I would be grateful for any helpful suggestions, because I have tried searching on google, etc and can't find anthing!
if it's a "dark t-shirt material" transfer then yes
because you can overtransfer as the backing stays white to ensure the trasnfer stands out
but if it's a white t-shirt - the underneath transfer will always show through - unless you use much darker colours
Is there any way of fading the original transfer then? Or getting rid of it slightly, so it doesn't show through as much? The t-shirt is white, but the transfer I want to replace it with is quite a bit darker than the original.
And like twice as big - If that makes any difference!
You could always, cut a hole around the transfer, then from an old white t-shirt, cut a hole of the same size, then sew the circle from the old t-shirt into the hole in your new t-shirt, and then put on your new transfer.
Or, using a hot iron on the transfer will make it come off,I think, it will also knacker your iron.
if the tshirt is completely white, why don't you bleach it?
put it in a cold water bleach mix to soak overnight...and i guarantee you that any wearable material left in the morning will be white...or cleaner than your toilet after half a bottle of domestos
