Come on guys...I'm straight..but I think this is VERY nice for gay people..to have the sanctity, rights, blessing, and bond...of a REAL marriage. |

I personally don't like it when heterosexual people call themselves straight. Does that mean that homosexual people are crooked? I have a problem with this. Should I? |

Elton doesn't try QUITE as hard to connect with the audience.. He's such a diva and all..;-) I feel sorry for Elton's future husband. He will probably be abused! ;-)<font color=purple>Miss James wrote: I'm seeing Elton live this week. Wah-hey!Have fun Amanda. I saw Elton with Billy Joel once and it was one awesome experience. |

My mum went to the Elton John & Billy Joel tour and she isn't too keen on Billy's music. That nite, Billy Joel was sick and Elton played the whole show on his own... for like 3 hours or so. Mum was the happiest person in the world I suppose. She said it was amazing! I don't think she felt too sorry for Billy that nite. |

QUOTE] crooked? surely you mean bent? ...and none of it is disparaging the term bent means nothing more sinister or complicated than "different from the norm" and as 85% of the population are "straight" then this is the "norm" - anything else is "bent" rather than "straight"Well not necessarily is that what I meant. See in the States of course bent means not straight as well, but let's say you were to tell me to "get bent." That means you are telling me to get F*cked. We use the word bent and crooked about the same amount to describe something that is not straight such as "this pipe is bent" or "this pipe is crooked." But we don't call people that are gay bent. |
