I am from leicester and i once saw john getting into a silver jaguar at bradgate country park cropston leicestershire as i was parking my car next to him,it was so odd seeing somebody like john a member of queen, who i had only seen on stage just getting into his car after a walk in the countryside with his family,as i was looking he was reversing his car out he saw me and with a friendly smile he was gone.
it was last summer when i saw him and there was an ice cream van within the car park, everyone seemed to be buying or had ice creams except or family, maybe he had left his wallet at home in oadby
I've seen Brian & Roger several times over the years at various gigs, had my photo taken with Brian once at a GnR concert. I can't bring myself to meet Roger as I'll either envelope him in a bear hug whilst saying 'thank you for the music' over and over or I'll vomit on him.

John was in the audience on the last night of the Electric Fire Tour at the Astoria - he was in the upstairs sat on the next table to Me , near the mixing desk - with his mrs and wearing a dark suit and grey shirt . He was stood in the cloakroom queue and nobody recognised him afterwards - didn't want to make a prat of myself and say hello , cos I would only have said something stupid like " I've got all your records " or something equally shameful
Wow you guys are lucky. I wish I lived in Britain. No seriously I'm planning on moving there when I'm older.
But if I ever saw any of them I'd do like Blue73 said and attack them with a paralizing bear hug or vomit or faint etc...
Only time I've seen them was the day before they played the Leeds gig in 1982. I just happened to be hanging around outside the hotel they were most likely staying at (The Dragonara in Leeds - now a Hilton Hotel) and they turned up.
Roger & John were your typical 'normal' people and arrived and chatted and signed stuff - Freddie's car got stuck in traffic under the 'Dark Arches' (railway bridge next to the hotel) so he got out and walked down the middle of the road & traffic to the hotel much to the amazement of other drivers & passengers .. and his security !!
Brian had gone to do a radio interview so we moved from the hotel to Radio Aire studios to surprise him there !
I have an autographed lp from that day - the signatures have faded but the memories of the band never will
