link The mother of ebay auctions! 2x Front Row Wembley Pavillion seats Block A4 Row 1 These are practically the best tickets you can buy. I am a student not a ticket agency. I need to sell these. I know ebay auctions are frowned upon on this forum but I don't doubt one of you would like to buy them. I have been buying and selling in order to get closer tickets to the front. I have sold my other tickets at face value and have been buying for more than I have been selling. These tickets are too close to the front and too sought after to just let go especially since I have paid a lot more than the face value for them. So I am selling them to recoup some of my losses or make a little earner if possible . And as if front row tickets aren't enough I am including the following: + My concert photos in an album (I'm a keen photographer so I thought I ought to add some of my handiwork for a souvenir ) + a small sum goes to charity if the winning bid exceeds a grand! Please only bid if you have the money and are genuinely going to buy. If they do not sell then they will go to my friends. That URL once again: link Good Luck! |

Wow, starting at only 500 pounds. Then you can just as well give them away for free. Man, you will definately loose lots of money on this.....wanker |
Bob The Shrek 22.04.2005 04:20 |
From the Ebay listing: "I am a just student and an avid fan of Queen" - so avid a fan that you would rather miss the concert and rip off some poor bastard in the process. |
Fenderek 22.04.2005 05:00 |
Wanker is the one who's gonna buy it... Well- the one who's selling it ain't better... |
Benn 22.04.2005 05:20 |
Mervin, You are nothing more than a ticket tout. A dirty, filthy rotten scumbag trying to make money at other people's expense. I sincerely hope that you receive NO bids on these tickets (if they exist) and, if you do, that the peole bidding realise that they are being HAD and do not complete the transaction. I have forwarded the link to your auction to a friend of mine within Queen Productions Ltd who will "hopefully" have the courage of his convictions and have you prosecuted as tout. All the best and "good luck" |
YourValentine 22.04.2005 05:31 |
We have not forgotten the frustration of real fans who did not get a ticket because of people like you. I hope you will stand in the rain and sell your tickets for 5 euros like the touts in Frankfurt. |
Lisser 22.04.2005 09:44 |
Hi Barb!!! How was the concert???? I missed you!!! :) |
Hitman 22.04.2005 10:18 |
....charity selling expensive tickets?! :P.......lease! |
Penetration_Guru 22.04.2005 16:28 |
I assume one of us has a "backup" ebay id that could be used to "win" this fantabulous prize, then come up with a series of excuses for slowness. Followed by negative feedback. |
inu-liger 22.04.2005 17:42 |
Only an idiot would buy these for 500 pounds. *Goes to beg daddy for his credit card* ;-) |
pastieman 22.04.2005 22:06 |
This rip off was on a queenonline thread, and has been pulled off. Get the hint, stop trying to rip honest hard working Queen fans off, you are juat as bad as those low-life touts outside any venue. Funny thing is when you look on ebay, this listing does not show up, and when you look on items for sale from seller, it says "this seller has no items for sale" Please QZ, do the same as QOL and remove this thread. |
Penetration_Guru 23.04.2005 13:10 |
I can still see it. |
Lennart Heim 23.04.2005 18:22 |
if you look in his feedback history, you can see that this guy bought these tickets from some other guy for 367 pounds link |

What really takes me to the fair is the way he tries to sound so jolly and genuine in offering us the chance to take out a mortgage to buy his tickets! Oh why thank you Mr Arse I am touched that you are giving me the chance to spend 500 big ones on a ticket. Truth is it has cost me less to fly from Ireland to France to see the Paris gig, and also buy a ticket for the Belfast gig too than to buy one from Mr Profit Margin Here's a deal, you give me the tickets in exchange for me farting on your head. Infact they say buttocks is good for wrinkles................. |

i will be seeing queen in newcastle, but i also bought some tickets on ebay for the nec birmingham ,they cost me £140 for a pair of seats in K block, which is the first block of tiered seats facing the stage,i just fancied buying them because they are for may 6th and it just happens that when i was a kid,the first time i saw queen was at bingley hall stafford may 6th 1978. |
eggy 24.04.2005 14:03 |
I've got 2 tickets for 2nd row - i'd quite happliy sell them for that and get some cheaper ones elsewhere! Money makes the world go round. |

Mervin - you are nothing short of a TWAT! |

Lol I didn't realise you people are so bitter and conniving! You claim to be disinterested yet have gone through my recommendations and purchases. That's rich. You claim the tickets cost £370. Those are my tickets! The tickets I am selling I bought for £620. Look down the list. £500 is the mean average of their value and all I ask. I am offering a photo set in addition to offset the expense to the buyer as best I can. The cost of tickets are £250 each and are not disproportionate to the proximity and desirablity of the seats. See if you can get front row CREAM for better value. If demand is such that they go for more, that is free market trading and fair. I am going to be at the front with my 10 year old brother. He has learning difficulties but has been learning to play guitar for the past year. It is his first concert, and probably the best he'll ever see. I don't get to see him often as I am studying 200 miles away in Wales. My priority has been to get the best possible tickets for me and him. This concert is really important to us. Making money is secondary. I have paid for my brother out of my own expense, so I think I deserve to get some back if I can. Go read your comments again. They sound like gorillas communicating with some kind of fart-language. Say what you think it doesn't matter to me. All that matters to me is my brother and I have a good show at the front. :p :p :p :p :p :p ....and one from my bro :p |

Anyone else smell that whiff of bullshit? Oh wait, it's Mervin and the Rip-Off Scalper Band |
Fenderek 26.04.2005 03:47 |
Well- so far it's a :p from everybody, because no-one is bidding... I really hope you're gonna stay witha worthless piece of paper in your hand and no-one is going to pay this rip off price, mate. Is 500 that much for the night you won't forget? Sure is you moron! Most of the gigs are standing- you can be in the first row, all it takes is an early arrival to the queue... |
Mr. Scully 26.04.2005 04:04 |
In most countries it's actually forbidden by law to sell tickets for more than the face value. Is this allowed in the UK? |
inu-liger 26.04.2005 10:16 |
Someone should report this to eBay |
FunkyMervin 26.04.2005 10:22 |
If it was illegal to sell for more than face value, all the tickets would be illegal as we all paid extra 'booking fees' B-). |
Lisser 26.04.2005 11:13 |
In that States you can purchase a scalping license. I think there is a law though that forbids the sale of tickets within 500 feet or so of the venue. |

Lisser wrote: In that States you can purchase a scalping license. I think there is a law though that forbids the sale of tickets within 500 feet or so of the venue.Apparently this law is ignored by everyone around here, then. There is such a thing as a scalping license? That is SO wrong.. |
Lisser 26.04.2005 13:29 |
It might be a Cincinnati thing but yes you can purchase a scalping license. When I went to Kenny Chesney though a couple weeks ago at Rupp Arena which is in Lexington Ky, there was an automated announcement going over and over saying no selling of tickets within 400 feet of the venue. Security was VERY tight there. I was searched with a wand and I had to lift up my shirt!!!! People that had shoes and socks on had to pull their socks down. I had flip flops on so I didn't have to do that. I don't know how I feel about scalping tickets. I always buy mine through ticketmaster. I guess I don't have an opinion on it since it isn't something I take part in. It might affect the price I pay on a ticket through Ticketmaster but I'm not aware of it and what I don't know won't hurt me. hahhahhaaa!!! |
Penetration_Guru 26.04.2005 17:15 |
Your brother's situation does NOT justify profiteering. If you'd have chosen to pay more for "your" tickets, then don't whinge to us about it and use it as some sort of half-arsed justification for what you're doing. Plus, if you're an impoverished student, HOW & WHY did you buy a second set of tickets? |
Erin 26.04.2005 22:11 |

It's part of the reason why it's so freaking difficult to get decent tickets..even when you buy them the instant they go on sale..:-I |

Here in Canada, apparently scalping is illegal as well, though it is ignored too (I guess in some parts), cos one time I went to a football game, and there were quite a few people on the grounds across the street from the stadium, shouting their offers for tickets on "sale". Luckily, I had two free vouchers so I didn't need to buy any tickets. As for concerts, I've only ever been to one by a known band (Sum 41 + Not By Choice (support act)), which I had won two passes for through a Pepsi competition at a local shopping mall. I still have both passes, which are both autographed by 3 members of Sum 41, and one from Not By Choice Fun concert, that was! |

I have spare packet of Rothman's Royals cigarettes that I bought this morning. I really don't need them today, so would anyone like to buy them for £100 and I will give £10 to charity? |

Hey Mervin Still no bids ? You sweating yet ? Perhaps you could put them on sale again next week for £1000.00 Just a thought..... |
lemonfrume 02.05.2005 03:17 |
Oh Dear Mervin No bids, and you are landed with a hefty ebay fee. The tickets that Brian donated for block A2 went for £510 on ebay....maybe you could call him and get him to sell them for you ...;-) Did you think anyone actually believed your 'story' ? |
