New Queen DVD from Hollywood Records
A quick mention from link states a new Queen DVD release.
Although there is no title or details about it, it reads that the release date will be September 13th.
(Hopefully the final Video Greatest Hits)

I don't know if this topic already exist, if it does I am sorry because I couldn't find it!
What do you think this release will be?
Houston 1977?
I still don't think so, and if they would release a dvd of the European tour, it wouldn't be released by Hollywood records.
And by the way, it would be to fast, because Brian, Roger and Paul have no time to put there influence in the dvd. They do want that.
So I really don't think it would be a release of this tour.
I wish for the GH III!It's want the fans want! To know more about our guys in the 90's! Beacause it's their final step and maybe the most creative!Bohemian Rhapsody = Innuendo in the 91. Don't u agree?
Those other Greatest Hits DVD's weren't released by Hollywood Records, so I don't think it's gonna be GVH3. Also a DVD for the new tour can't be it, as Vdo28 already said, there's not enough time. And why would an American Record Company release a show from Europe??? I'll hope a nice show from the USA. I hope it's gonna be Houston, offcourse, but I doubt it. There are not many complete shows filmed in the USA (at least not well-known shows), so the chance is in my opinion quite big that it will be Houston.
We'll see...
Afraid to disappoint you all, but it's another tribute album, with the likes of Joss stone, Greenday and Sum 41 playing queen songs. There's plenty of information on it around if you look. The artists/song choices do look more interesting than in past efforts though, could be worth checking out.
Edit: Heres the link to an earlier thread with more details. link
I'm sorry, but that's a tribute ALBUM. This is a DVD-release. It could also be a documentary, but I'll hope it's gonna be a concert. It clearly says a Queen DVD, so I hope not a rotten tribute thing.

Hollywood has released the first two Greatest Video Hits DVDs, and it has also released the Wembley and MK live shows, both European shows released by an American company.
My only question is why release a 2005 tour DVD to promote a 2005 tour in America?
Did Hollywood records release Gvh I and II?

Hollywood records announces two interesting dvd-titles for september 13 with one from jesse mccartney and another for Queen.

No.
I have them on my shelf, Rick. I am positive that Hollywood released Greatest Video Hits 1 and 2, along with Live at Wembley, On Fire at the Bowl, and the Freddie Tribute on DVD.
How can you be so sure? I have all those DVDs too, and I can't even find a shred of evidence connecting them to Hollywood records. Surely it would say if they were released by them?
Not to dash any hopes or anything but it might be a DVD release of Budapest.. myself I would LOVE to see a release of a Live DVD from somewhere BESIDES the Magic tour or the Hot Space Tour.. In my opinion Queen were not at their best in 82.. Give us something from say. 77.. or even 78.. better yet.. Detroit 1980 yeah.. that would be best..

Your's wouldn't mention Hollywood since you live in the UK. Hollywood only releases Queen material in North America. Since Dan and I are both Yanks, our releases were from Hollywood as it states on the back of the DVD.
That's how I can be so sure.
Well, I won't be too thrilled if they release GVH3 here. There isn't much demand for the 90s stuff here. Queen were most relevant in the 70s and early 80s, so a concert from the 70s would be the best bet since we already have Milton Keynes 82.
Rainbow 74, Hammersmith 75/79 ??
I would love another release of the Hot Space tour or the Magic tour....
But that chance is very slim...
But Greatest video hits III would also be great!
Well, it HAS to be Greatest Video Hits Vol. 3 because they have to close the book.
I wonder if they'll be adding any small movies from the "Made In Heaven" videos. I never saw or heard the songs written by May, Lamers and Musker on that VHS.
It has to be the vol.3 because everybody wants to know the truth behind "Innuendo", "Days Of Our Lives", "Headlong" and "I'm Going Slightly Mad". I hope Brian and Roger tell a very good story for songs like "Mother Love" and "A Winter's Tale". Maybe new videos made by DoRo too. They're good at that but they do not need to make it look like Freddie is actually singing the songs. Just images of him with a song liek Mother Love makes my day.
Since they added solo songs for the GH3 CD, I wonder if the same will happen for the DVD..."Driven By You"'s story..."The Great Pretender"'s story...I hope not, because it's a different thing, but that might happen.
I'd like to know the story behind every collaboration of Brian and Roger. Why did they choose 5ive or Britney for exemples ? I know Brian likes Britney...he said he always listened to one of her CDs in his car before he met her in 2003...5ive's guy had a good voice I admit, but it wasn't the best choice for a band. The Backstreet Boys would have been better for let's say...hum..."One Year Of Love". Just kidding. Anyway, they have odd choices for their collaborations, like Anastacia who was at the 46664 concert but her voice doesn't fit anything Queen sings...I want to know the real point of view of Brian, Roger and I'd like them to comment on things John said about Robbie Williams. All they ever say is : "He has the right to do this...bla bla bla" but is that really their opinion ? Maybe...but I'll never know.
Will they be adding "We Are The Champions" with Robbie Williams ? It's only Robbie that we see in the video...But there, the story could be fun...they might even talk about why he's not their singer. How far did it go with him EXACTLY ? How long was he REALLY considered to be a Queen singer ? Did he act like Freddie backstage ? How did they find him when he first sang the song ? Etc...
I can't wait to hear the story behind "No One But You" ! How emotional it was...
All in all, I think that people are really interested in that DVD because I see that a lot of people loves "Innuendo" and "Made In Heaven". Great albums.
Dan.
