I notice that Rogers kit isn't as big as on previos tours, ie he only seems to have two tom toms on his left and none mounted on his right. Could it be that he has become so vain that he has altered his kit in order to be more visable for photos etc.
By the way I'm new on here and have loved Queen for years and years so please don't bombard me with abuse because my first post is not entirely complementary.
Its not that I think whatever size kit he uses makes any difference its just something I wondered about. Maybe I'll ask him if I happen to bump into him at the Newcastle show!!!

He has been playing this type of kit for several years.
Snare Drum
8x10" (I think) Tom Tom
Tom Tom
Two Floor Toms
Three Roto-Toms (new for the Tour)
26" Bass Drum (new in December 2004)
Zildjian K Cymbals (3 Crash, Hi-Hats, China (not a K), Ride
Chimes (new for the Tour)
Yes I realise that he has used this for a few years now, but that is in the main for short sets at ceramony type events(with Queen anyway). I just thought that with this being a full scale Queen tour he might have gone back to the same sort of thing that we have seen him play over the years. Not that it matters a toss anyway. Just a not very astute observation on my behalf. As for him changing kits in order to be more photo friendly, well we all know that Roger doesn't have a vain bone in his body. Thanks for responding anyway
