fucking hell!!!!! when did THAT happen???
you'd have thought ONE queenfan would've noticed this sooner? why has no-one raised this topic before? why weren't we informed????? fucking lack of information around here "Queenzone"??? - "DeadZone", more like!!!! ;-)
Retired, yes (almost) all of us know that.
But I was always wondering what is the real cause. We have only speculations: he wants a calm life with his family, he never liked the spotlight anyway. But even this is a speculation.
My logical sense says something definite must have happened that made him stay away from public. I feel sorry for it, because I liked his style. At the concerts I didn't really missed him musically, Danny Miranda did a great job. But somehowe, as I saw the footage on the screen, it became warm at my heart. And not only because of the sight of Freddie.

He's doing a great job!?! WHAHAHAHA don't make me laugh!!!
And you don't miss John? You call yourself a Queen fan?
Actually he IS doing a great job. Have you seen any gig?
Do I miss John? Yes, but... Danny's really great. And no- he's not a member of Queen...
John Deacon died in a car accident in 1967. The John Deacon that became famous as Queen's bass player is not the real John Deacon, it's in fact Roy A. McLean from Penniesworth, Yorkshire, who disappeared around the same time as the car accident, and who won a John Deacon look-alike contest a few months earlier. It's the truth, believe it.
When Freddie died,Queen was over. That is why you don't see John. Why would anybody want to keep playing, when Freddie can't even come close to being replaced? I don't see the attraction to seeing Paul Rodgers mutilate Queen songs? Just because you miss Queen? Well, then let's just have William Hung belt out a few of Freddie's favorites.

Unlike Queen, this is one song I am sick of hearing.
