The album is due a late July release.
wow they're really trying to push this huh...I puke at the thought of nickleback, godsmack, shinedown, or POD, but I don't mind everyone else.
fucking nickleback, do they have to ruin yet another aspect of my life, my friends all like them and now they have to cover Queen...damimt
however, looking at the lineup, you can't tell me this tribute had nothing to do with how much money the band's label could fork out to be on it, or how much hollywood payed to get big names on it (probably the latter). And you can't tell me all these artists actually voluntered for this, nevertheless, like I said, at least half of them make original, real music.
I heard that Constantine Maroulis of Pray For the Soul of Betty said in an interview that he was going to be doing something (possibly Bohemian Rhapsody) on the tribute album. Does that seem likely?
I agree that some people should not try to do Queen. But I think its cool if Constantine is gonna do Bo Rap, cause I thought he did a pretty good job of it on AI. I mean, nobody is Freddie, but still . . .
Constantine, Constantine, Will You Do The Fandango...
Meanwhile, this whole album is sounding rather stank-finger at the moment.
I do believe I shall pass.
