The news on Queenonline says that there is a rumour that there will be changes to the set list tonight... |
Markman38 07.04.2005 10:50 |
Rumours are that the set list is changing tonight... (Queenonline.com) Well the bet's are off :-) If Brian have read this he proberbly knows it should be It's Late.... And the winner is? |
paps_22890 07.04.2005 11:05 |
hope so thats one of my fav, i also think paul's voice would really suit somethin like sleepin on the sidewalk |
Erin 07.04.2005 11:06 |
Mmmmm...It's Laaaate...arrrgggh **drool** |
zaiga 07.04.2005 11:08 |
They are adding "Another One Bites the Dust" j/k |
PieterMC 07.04.2005 11:14 |
I have heard from a good source that they will be performing the entire Hot Space album.... |
Fenderek 07.04.2005 11:45 |
Out AKOM, in INNUENDO |
Fenderek 07.04.2005 11:52 |
...and Death On Two Legs, flick Of The Wrist and Stone Cold Crazy... Now that's just wishfull thinking ;) |
Josuè 07.04.2005 12:09 |
During the concert in Barcelona it seemed to me Brian was going to play It's Late and I REALLY got excited about it. But he didn't play it. So I figure It's Late it's one of my favs. |
Jjeroen 07.04.2005 12:28 |
First changes (according to what the guys rehearsed) could very possibly be Miracle, Breakthru or Innuendo. |
krantzet80 07.04.2005 12:37 |
I think it would awesome to hear some of the never before played songs from the last albums. How about some unusual stuff like Ride The Wild Wind, Let Me Live or I Can't Live With You. Or Princes Of The Universe... oh, that's wishful thinking! Or what the hell, i'm happy with The Miracle, Headlong or Breakthru... ...and, I want to hear Say It's Not True again. And No One But You. And whatabout Heaven For Everyone? Seems to like like a crime, not to play it. |
paps_22890 07.04.2005 12:37 |
Teo Toriatte, somebody to love, put out the fire, save me, play the game, its late, sleepin on the sidewalk, its a beautiful day,to name a few more that would be great... and i love khashoggi's ship!!! |
paps_22890 07.04.2005 12:38 |
good choices |
paps_22890 07.04.2005 12:39 |
we gotta think but the queen "fans" who aren't obssessed!! And the one they have been playin are just as fab, there are just too many to choose from... love let me live tho... and paul has got some decent stuff too |
Richard Lopata (new email) 07.04.2005 12:46 |
I'm hoping for Miracle/Innuendo material Breakthru would be so awesome ... still the first single I ever bought (when I was 9) ... and still special ... and I just loved that train-video |
Going Back 07.04.2005 13:34 |
i would like some of these songs: death on two legs jesus mother love tenement funster no one but you play the game the miracle teo torriatte a winter's tale scandal innuendo ride the wild wind most i would like scandal and a winter's tale |
The Mir@cle 07.04.2005 13:34 |
Please let it be Innuendo... |
Going Back 07.04.2005 13:56 |
if they really change setlist then probably innuendo will be the first change |
Under Pressure 07.04.2005 14:31 |
They do start one number with the opening of It's Late ... so I think there's a good chance they rehearsed the rest of the song ... |
[ Wybren™ ] 07.04.2005 15:01 |
Strange... Why does QOL spread rumours? It's the official website so why do they have rumours on it? They could contact Brian or Roger to verify it?!? |
shambapoo 07.04.2005 15:20 |
It's Late isn't played. It's just the slow version of Hammer To Fall that Brian did on his 1998 solo tour. They then go into an edited version of the fast version. I say fuck that and just play the Headbangers version! |
Penetration_Guru 07.04.2005 15:23 |
Technically you're both right. The first two seconds of HTF slow version is the same chords as It's Late. |
Markman38 07.04.2005 15:31 |
I can confirm right now they will indeed change the setlist and they will perform the complete Flash album with video performance ass well and Paul Rodgers sings Ooh Flash all the time |
Going Back 07.04.2005 15:34 |
yeah and if they don't sing flash then brian may plays 1h guitar solo ;) |
Daveboy35 07.04.2005 15:52 |
If you've read the Q Classic mag i'm certain the paul rodgers interview clearly states paul saying about trying innuendo so i'll put my money on innuendo. |
Going Back 07.04.2005 16:01 |
that would be nice to if paul will try some of the made in heaven songs |
Jjeroen 07.04.2005 16:36 |
LOL, I can actually hear him do that: "Oh, Flashy Flashy-flashy-flashy baby Oh, yeah, how ya gonna Flash me baby..."! |
jona1 07.04.2005 16:45 |
you know since they are changing the set list 6 gigs into the tour, you never know they may change it every 5 or 6 gigs as they go along the way. there doing 33 may be more dates, and they have the tunes between them to do a fresh set list every night if they wanted. Just like roger and brian have said, there will be a few suprises. i think there just getting warmed up. |
innuendo1983 07.04.2005 16:48 |
setlist taken from wegotit: firence setlist paul was ill and only on for 1-5 & 14-16 18-23 115 min 1 reachin 2 tie 3 break free 4 fat 5 crazy little t 6 say its not true 7 39 8 love of life 9 hammer 10 car 11 guit solo 12 lost h 13 days 14 radio 15 cant get e 16 magic 17 i Want it all 18 Bo rhap - encore 19 show 20 all right now 21 WWRY 22 Champions 23 god save the queen |
innuendo1983 07.04.2005 16:55 |
So i think Say it's not true was played because Paul was ill and could not sing Seagull, Little bit of love and Feel like makin'love. |
Lester Burnham 07.04.2005 17:09 |
They really shook it up there. |
Mercury-Alive 07.04.2005 17:16 |
Was it all worth it All God's people Keep yourself alive Don't stop me now The miracle Las palabras de amor Sail away sweet sister Princes of the universe Scandal All great choices - I prefer Princes |
j0ck3 07.04.2005 17:21 |
Add We Will Rock You Fast, move Tie Your Mother Down to before the encore and play WWRYF after Reaching Out Replace A Kind Of Magic with Innuendo. AKOM wasnt good during Magic Tour and I will never like it. |
Hank H. 07.04.2005 17:47 |
Yeah, there are many songs that should be added. Also The Hero. And Last Horizon is not even in my top 100 for this tour. Probably not even in my top 200. Why the fuck does he have to play this disgusting kitschy tune? Or why doesn't Roger stop him from playing it, since he realizes that solos are boring? |
Mr Mercury 07.04.2005 18:23 |
Since blues seems to be Paul's style, I'm surprised that they didnt consider "See What A Fool I've Been". |
pirrakitas 07.04.2005 18:30 |
Yeah! they should play: See What a Fool I've been (PR vocals) Soul Brother (PR) A Human Body (RT) Lost Oportunity, (BM) and a little bit of the Rock In Rio Impromptu (Freddie's video) Come on, this is becoming a joke ... :-) Seriously, I think the set list is a good one, only really miss Innuendo. We have to consider that they only play for 2 hours (far more than the duration of the Works Tour and Magic Tour), there must be some Paul Rodgers songs in the setlist, and not everybody in the audience is a hard core fan. |
Q-Nick 07.04.2005 19:10 |
Give it time- I expected the first few shows to be steady. If there isn't changes within the next couple of shows, thats when people should start being a bit upset with the setlists. Remember, Paul is still learning material and they've only been playing as a band for a few weeks. |
Justice 07.04.2005 21:14 |
j0ck3 wrote: Replace A Kind Of Magic with Innuendo. AKOM wasnt good during Magic Tour and I will never like it.Wow, that's really impressive. How do you type so well with your head stuck up your arse? |
akindofmagic 08.04.2005 00:52 |
God, i just wanted to be in Firenze!!!! Bri and Rog singing half of the show??!! and actualy sharing vocals on "These are the days" AND "Hammer to Fall"??!! Bri on lead vocals on "I want it all"(just like on brixton show)!!?? Just sad that on the fabulous Madrid show Paul hadn't vocal problems(eheheh)! I wanted to see(and hear) our Boys singing those songs!! Just surprised that they didn't do it "No-One But You"!! it would be the right moment!! and even "Under pressure", sharing vocals agin. I Just love when Brian and Roger share vocals . it works very well, like on "NOBY" and "Let Me Live" Just hope somebody recorded the whole show.... |

Some people in this topic and abound are being totally unrealistic. |
Scirocco1977 08.04.2005 09:27 |
I'm just thinking... What would have been if the internet had been commonly spread in 1986... oh, how the magic tour would have been damned! |
boy of destiny 08.04.2005 11:20 |
I agree with a couple of the earlier posts, It's Late and Sleeping on the Sidewalk would be my picks too. |
THEVIVID1 08.04.2005 15:18 |
I would absolutely bloody love it if they did the FULL version Of Brighton Rock rather than just the guitar solos as I feel BR as well as Innuendo would really give the show a new boost/dimension. |
jona1 08.04.2005 15:23 |
don't hold your breath but one vision was heard been played at sound check today |
AlexRocks 08.04.2005 22:17 |
I always thought that it was vital to play live songs that were from the early and later releases that had never been performed live. I can't believe the lost opportunities with that if all of that is not done... |
slightly mad 22 09.04.2005 07:34 |

I have this theory that they hate their '70s stuff. I don't know why, but they really seem to want everyone to forget everything they did in the '70s for some reason. There's no other explanation. |

PLEASE STOP WITH THE ACONYMS FOR SONGS!!!!!!.it must be a younger generation thing. ive been a queen fan since they started and it takes me ages to work out what the hell people are talking about.... PLEASE!!! |

what is a Aconym? I am 42 and I have no problem with acRonyms. It just takes using one or two brain cells. |
