How rare are Queen LP's now, cos i found two todayt when clearing out the cupboard, aint played them yet cos i need a record player. But how rare are they now cos iv never seen em anywhere!
The Works is very common, so worth in the region of £3.
If your Jazz has the naked women poster in it is worth more, that otherwise, but its still only worth less than a fiver in pristine condition.
Having a look on ebay will prove the value of things really.
kind of on the subject, has anyone else ever seen 'Queen' with a pinky-red sleeve rather than the standard blue? A friend of mine was taking me through his collection, and I came across this, and was rather confused.
Different country of release perhaps? Any ideas, please let me know!
Cheers
just to clarify, i assume you mean the first album? cause i wouldn't say it was blue, more purple.
anyway...
i do believe that pink/red rather than red/purple were the original colours intended for the album cover, but somehow something went wrong and the colours were mixed incorrectly or something got lost in the colour request and the wrong colours were used simple. i think i read this on Brian's site a while back.
So, POSSIBLY (and don't quote me), your friend has one of the second generation manufactures of the album, with the correct colurs (or something like that anyway)
