the problem at the moment with the wrist bands is people are abusing them. People are wearing them as a fashion accessory/trend not for there true purpose of supporting the charities.
the sheer number of people wearing them, i mean i dont think a full skool (mine being about 500= kids) are not goin to suddenly go "oh wristbands for charity, lets buy em!" its more like " oh they look cool lets get one" or "hey where did u get that it looks cool," u know wot i mean?

It's great that thye're for charity and I think they look cool too. A lot would wear them for fashion accessories but as long as money is going to charity's it doesn't matter.
There's 'fashion bands' going about now, which are just plain coloured ones with nothing written on them.
What I can't stand is the amount of people buying all these bands; from people, through ebay..whatever...and they're selling them for twice the price, making a profit from money that should go to charity.
Anyway, I have:
Livestrong
Be Strong
2 Marie Keating Foundation
2 anti-racism 'stand up, speak up'
and am hoping to get ones at concert!!
:D
lol i have them too, and hope to get the 'Let Me Live' One. i do get pissed off at my friends for buying them off ebay *the nervous twitch returns*
i've looked at the list of merchandise available for the tour and im tinkin i wanna buy everything on it, im gonna have to rob a bank or something to afford all this stuff... ah well :)
well our skool is rasin money for charity, i mean recently we held our own Live Aid gig (which i organised!stressful), and we are goin to buy a bunch of these bands but you can have your own thing put on them, so we're havin against poverty and bullying on them-all proceeds goin to charity!
Linda,
If you want, you can buy the wristband now -- On the official concert site, there's a link for merchandise. Not much there right now, but you CAN get the wristbands, Brian May guitar picks, and design your own live CD from the tour.
Not bad at all.
Best,
Greg
Can't seem to find the tourbook scans on Thomas' site. Does anyone have a direct link to that page?
update: ah, scroll down seemed to be the solution...ahem.
Good to know about the 20 pound/get a wristband. I hope they add more stuff soon -- if I can't afford all of what I want at the concert, it'd be nice to know it'll be available elsewhere!...I don't usually shell out for too much at shows, but this is different...
