Hey,
So I've been obsessed with Queen since I was like 8 (I'm 20 now). I've always loved the music, though never really been a member of the online fan community.
I am so excited to find out about the tour. I found out about 2 days ago, bought tickets to the Belfast concert and just booked a flight to Ireland. I'm also going to go to the Dublin concert.
I need some help since, I'm kinda a newbie to Ireland concerts, so I'd love to help here.
I want to go to the Dublin concert, and I want to get the best tickets possible, and I'm willing to pay for them. Anyone know a really reputable source where I can buy really relaly good tickets?
Also, how do I get from Belfast to Dublin? What's the easiest way?
Can anyone suggest hotels near the concerts that I can stay at?
Any other tips? What's was they set they've played?
I'm SO EXCITED!!! THIS IS MY BIGGEST DREAM EVER, TO SEE THEM IN CONCERT! I know it's without Mercury, but as a 20 year old Queen fan this is the best I can do.
Happiest person on earth,
Robin
Hi Robin
I live about 5 minutes (by car) away from where they are playing in Belfast, so I should know the area ok!
They are playing at the Odyssey Arena in Belfast. I'll have a think for you, but as far as I know, the nearest hotel to the Odyssey is the Hilton. The easiest way to get to Dublin is to get the train down, and the train station is near the Hilton and the Odyssey too!
So its all worked out rather well for you!
That's great. Know where I can buy a train ticket from Belfast to Dublin online? What are the names of the train stations I should be leaving / going to?
No need to buy one online, just go to the station and buy one. I'm not even sure if you can buy a train ticket online, dont see why anyone would ever need to! All you have to do is walk in and ask for a train ticket to Dublin, and like I said the train station is very close to the Hilton so you will have no problem finding it. You can easily see the station from the Hilton and vice versa.
You were also after tickets to the Dublin concert too, right? (I was considering going to this also, I already have Belfast tickets). Go to link for Dublin gig tickets.
We are also flying over to Belfast (from Bristol) the morning of the gig then staying at Jurysdoyle hotel which is probably nowhere near the venue- anyone know? Then getting the train down to Dublin. Not staying in a hotel for dublin as we have run out of money so going out for a drink after the show (please join us!) then going back to the airport for a 7am flight to Cardiff!
Hi there,
Im going to Dublin aswell, the anticipation!!!I would recommend you just get a standing ticket and then queue nice and early to get a place near the front. The seats are good too,but if you're only 20 I would defo recommend standing right in front of the stage.Much better craic there!!!
Brian
The nearest hotel to the point is the Jurys Doyle Custom house quay about a 5 min walk to the venue it's about a 20min walk to the city centre from the point so i'd recommend this hotel it's nothing fancy but it's nice...
