Madrid (AFP) - Queen, the emblematic rock heroes of the 1970s and 1980s who are currently on an European tour with former Free and Bad Company lead singer Paul Rodgers, have announced at their arrival to Madrid before their concert at the Palacio De Los Deportes that they won't be touring the Unites States or Canada this fall as it was initially expected by the band.
"I feel deeply saddened to break these news to our beloved American and Canadian fans, but for reasons out of our own reach we won't be able to tour this fall" said guitarist Brian May, during a press conference in Madrid.
May also mentioned that the band will be making an more efforts to bring Queen back to their first North American tour since 1982.
As a journalist I can tell you a real press-release would NOT read like this!
But I was fooled too for a second while reading the name of the threat. ;-)
Good one Mr Jingles!

OK, we all know that was a joke, but it does raise the question...When WILL Brian and the boys confirm North American dates? Hell, I'm seeing U2 on October 22, and I've already had the **tickets** for two weeks now...and knew about the concert two weeks before that.
DAMN!! You scared the hell outta me!! I have been looking forward to the Fall Concert since I heard they were on tour!! You REALLY got me! I stopped breathing for a little while and almost passed out!! Your good!! ;)
