If and when the band tour the US, they will need a totally different setlist, since North American's could give a rats ass about anything that dealt with Queen and keyboards. If they pulled 15 songs from this list they'd come back and DESTROY the States. If they play Ga Ga, AKOM, IWTBF etc., they'll have a tough time winning the crowd over. (By album, not order of performance.)
Doing all right
Liar
White Queen
Brighton Rock
Stone cold crazy

Love of my life
Sweet Lady
Tie your mother down
White Man
It's Late
Spread your wings
FBG
Dead on time (show opener!)

Headlong
I can't live with you
Great set list.
I agree, Queen will have to go with mostly hard stuff if they wasnt to be successful in America
They also might want to include...
We will rock you (fast)
Under Pressure
Now I'm here
I expect the North American set will be different, but I bet "Radio Ga Ga", "The Show Must Go On", "I Want It All" and "These Are the Days of Our Lives" stay in.
your right,as a real american queen fan who is traveling to england for the shows i have no problem with the current setlist.but if they play songs off akom and the miracle in the usa the arenas will be silent.you can play i want it all and the show must go on because they are good rock songs.even hammer to fall might work.days of our lives and ga ga have to go.the only reason i want to break free might work is the coke commerical.i saw a queen tribute band here and when ga ga was played the place was silent. other than those few exceptions the setlist should end with the game album.
I also agree that they will need to do mostly older/harder songs in the US. The EU/UK set list fits the audience well over there since Queen's popularity peaked in the 80's over there. For "newer" songs they Should include-
Under Pressure
I want it all
Headlong
Hitman
Show must go on- perhaps
I also think if/when they venture over here we will be seeing them in smaller venues (Theaters?) If Paul Rodgers remains as lead vocal- then they should also add more Bad Company Free Songs in the Set list to keep the audience engaged. The BC/Free songs get more airplay (at least around here) than classic queen tracks
I am lucky enough to be going to the UK gigs in May...I hope they will come to the - unfortuneately I still have some doubts whether they will.
