Is anyone here Scottish. Not that I am, I'm just wondering, you know, because I can. That and Scotland rocks! Well I'm part Scottish, so I guess you can scratch that second part about me not being Scottish! :-)
I'm just over half Scottish. My dad is from Dundee and I've seen a fair bit of the country, and I've concluded that despite what the English say there are worse nationalities to lay claim to. I even don't object to bagpipes so it must be in me.
I'm part Scottish on my fathers side of the family. My last name, Dunlop, is very Scottish. I've heard two meanings for it,
1. Fort at the bend- because in the ancient village of Dunlop there was a huge fort at a...bend.
2. Muddy Hill
I'm not joking either. I love being Scottish and I'm very proud of my heritage.
I'm a ginger haired, kilt wearing, whisky drinking,haggis munching, sheep shagging, heart disease suffering bastard too.
