So here I am driving Mom to the library to a quilt show which begins at 11.00. I'm hurrying because we left home at 10.20 - a little late. I take the interstate around town to save time, then I take the bypass, a thing which allows you to get from point A to point B very fast only it doesn't. It has stoplights. Seven of them. I get stopped at all 7 of them. I get here 2 minutes late. Ah, well you can't win for losing.
A couple of days ago we had a baby goat. Now we have another - born around 6.30 this morning. She's very cute! We are naming her Mulberry because her mother is Goldberry, after Lord of the Rings, wife of Tom Bombadil.
Wow at least my family's not the only ones who gets stuck at every bloody stoplight on the way whenever we're trying to get to somewhere quick.
Congrats on your new goat as well!! I got to hold a baby goat once it was only 2 hours old. It was the sweetest thing. Give Mulberry a hug for me!
I did in fact hug her for you and I just wanted to say that of our 4 baby goats this year, she is the friendliest! She's always climbing onto my lap or onto my back ifI'm standing up, walking between my legs, and she's soooooo cute! :)
