Confirmed Songs for Tour??
| cmsdrums 15.03.2005 16:29 |
When asked if he has a favourite Queen song, and hat songs will they definitely be playing, in interviews in the The Q Magazine special Paul Rodgers says: "Is This The World we Created...? is a beautiful song, so I'm really looking forward to getting my teeth into that. I Want It All is fantastic, Crazy Little Thing Called Love... I fancy trying Innuendo too. Tie Your Mother Down, Fat Bottomed Girls." Brian is tight lipped in his interview and doesn't give away anything, other than saying he'd love to do 'Can't Get Enough of Your Love' by Bad Company (no shock there). Should be good!!! |

There are no real surprises with these songs with the exception of ITTWWC!! It was suggested in a leaked thread that they might do a rock version of this song! Brilliant if it comes off! I'm really looking forward to seeing how Paul performs the Queen songs and in particular the less rocky numbers....especially the non Brian ones. Guaranteed certs: TYMD Headlong We Will Rock You We Are the Champions Can't Get Enough Of Your Love Feel Like Makin' Love Allright Now I Want It All Innuendo (in view of above comment from Paul) Rock'n'Roll Fantasy ITTWWC NOBY Love Of My Life Radio Ga Ga Days Of Our Lives A Kind Of Magic Fire and Water Brighton Rock Guitar Solo Hammer To Fall This is my opinion and may be subject to change of course!! |
| We Are The Champions 15.03.2005 20:46 |
Forgot to include: Fat Bottomed Girls Crazy Little Thing Called Love Cheers!! |

You missed the miracle |
| Raúl 16.03.2005 05:25 |
Fat Bottomed Girls???? Are you sure??? Wooooh!!!!! That would be great!!! Since I listened it played live in dvd Bowls'82 I'm fascinated. Pure r'n'r. There're only two weeks left for Madrid!!!! Ha, ha, Here we go! |

jeff payne wrote: You missed the miracleDo you think they'll play this? This is a Freddie song if ever I heard one! Not one of the songs I expect but you never know! Great song though..and will feature near the start of the show if it's played once the crowd has settled!! Again, only my opinion. |
| Benn 16.03.2005 11:16 |
The only "guaranteed" certs are: WWRY WATC All Right Now Hammer To Fall Radio Ga Ga Brighton Rock Solo I would have thought that the rest of the set would eb subject to change almost nightly. They all have a huge catalogue of material to choose from and I think there WILL be surprises each night. What's the betting that they play something like Little Wing by Hendrix, or include a Jailhouse Rock medley.......... I'd lokve to hear a really intricate medley of material like Drowse, Tenement Funster and Ain't Put Nothing Down. I just pray that Spike doesn't come across too loud and that Jamie stays hidden at the back...... |
| hcrvelin 16.03.2005 11:53 |
I'd love to hear China Belle rigth after Brighton solo - performed by Brian of course (which brings me to the question - does PR play any instrument?) |
| Scirocco1977 16.03.2005 11:55 |
We Will Rock You We Are The Champions No doubt about these We also have confdirmation for those (source Capital Gold interview): All Right Now Feel like making love Can't get enough of your love It has also been confirmed that BRian and Roger will sing some of their songs. So 80-90% songs will be: Brian: Tie Your Mother Down Love of My Life Too Much Love Will Kill You Roger: Radio Gaga A Kind of Magic Days of our lives Also both will sing the duet No-One But You. Also confirmed some brandnew songs (maybe Invincible hope etc or even newer. According to the rehearsal video, it is possible that Another One Bites the Dust is also included. So let's say we have around 14 songs now. That makes about 2/3 of a show. Then it is time for speculation: Innuendo! Brian wanted so dearly to play it on the Tribute concert. Crazy Little Thing Called Love? Yeah, 90%. Hammer to Fall. Most possibly the new version (slow into fast). Then, let's put in another fast song (I Want It All), a slow song (A Made in Heaven song maybe?), one or two old songs, another Paul Rodgers song, and there you have it. Waddaya say? |
| Benn 16.03.2005 11:57 |
>does Paul play..... Yes - played guitar with Free and has dabbled with Bad Company and on his solo material - he's a reluctant player I believe. |
| Jjeroen 16.03.2005 12:07 |
Still my wish: MY MELANCHOLY BLUES!!! Would be great for Paul Rodgers' voice... |
| Benn 16.03.2005 12:21 |
>Love of My Life >Too Much Love Will Kill You GOD SAVE US - it'll be like armageddon with lighters being held above heads. I f**king hate those songs. We'll get the same old lovey-dovey intros from Brian and the crowd singing as per Live Killers - all so predictable. Personally, I'd prefer Brian to only sing back-up and let Paul run the whole shabang, but egos prevent these things. |
| akan 16.03.2005 12:28 |
you forget too much love will kill you!I think it will be played for sure. Do you think they will play "headlong"?it would be a dream. |
| Scirocco1977 16.03.2005 12:33 |
It's not only egos... it is also fans who want Roger and Brian to perform some singing. But I have to agree that (at least) love of my life is getting a bit boring. I remember singing it in cologne in 98, and after the audience did not sing that well, BRian made a face telling us "Well... you did NOT so good!" Maybe, he will be skipping that song now. |
| YourValentine 16.03.2005 12:37 |
Brian mentioned Little Wing months ago on his website. I believe they play the songs they already performed in Cologne Tie Your Mother Down The Show Must Go on I'm In Love Woth My Car Don't Stop Me Now (maybe not) Sail Away Sweet Sister Little Wing "Rock'n Roll" is a Roger Taylor favourite, he has performed it on virtually every show he did in the last years. |
| wegotit 16.03.2005 12:41 |
In the Q-Classics interview Paul Rodgers states that he is looking forward to getting his teeth in to: Is This The World We Created I Want It All Crazy Little Thing Called Love Innuendo and All Right Now Can't Get Enough Of Your Love Feel Like Makin' Love have been confirmed, too |
| akan 16.03.2005 13:14 |
i think that they will play little wing in some shows and rock'n'roll in other shows; playng them in one show would be too much non-queen and non-paulrodgers stuff. |
| Lord Blackadder 16.03.2005 13:26 |
Isnt there a certain Rhapsody missing? Also I reckon they will play One Vision to start the show. And Now I'm Here aswell. Another One Bites The Dust too. |

| jqu 16.03.2005 21:25 |
what about under pressure.. such a great song, never gets any credit |
| john bodega 17.03.2005 01:40 |
Headlong would be a great participation number, I mean they all would, but that one especially. And don't write off The Miracle. If nothing else, it is totally worth doing so that 1000's of people can sing the end lyric. |
| All Star 17.03.2005 06:05 |
The must play Breakthru'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That would rock the whole place! |
| Fenderek 17.03.2005 06:12 |
I'm absolutely sure they're gonna do Fat Bottomed Girls Anyway- as Benn already said and Roger confirmed in last interview (Q Special)- they're going to have a rolling set list, with many surprises. May be REALLY good!!!! |
| The Stealer 17.03.2005 14:17 |
Benn posted "GOD SAVE US - it'll be like armageddon with lighters being held above heads. I f**king hate those songs. Well if they do those I will be running to the beer stand! |
| queenlegends 17.03.2005 18:27 |
hey you forgot just one song that should be in there definatly, why not Rogers "nazis"? the uncensored verion...lol I can imagine him swearing on stage now it would be histerical. |
| Voice of Reason 2018 18.03.2005 05:05 |
I like your tracklist Daveless! Some of the other suggestions on here terrify me... |
| Benn 18.03.2005 06:32 |
ComplianceQueen >Benn- I also hate those songs! Well if they do those I will be running to the beer stand! It's a bit like The Who still playing the awful "You Better You Bet" - time to take a piss........ Unfiortunately, the audience participation thing is big with Queen. I think fans EXPECT to have it in the show (LOML) as opposed to knowing what is best for a rock band to play and to maintain the pace of the show itself. I certainly wouldn't be happy paying £55 for Brixton tickets only to have to listen to THE AUDIENCE sing for a whole 3 minutes etc. |
| sexmachine 18.03.2005 07:09 |
hope they´ll play "say it´s not true" |
| Mr. Scully 18.03.2005 07:10 |
OK, I DON'T like Love Of My Life & such stuff BUT in the same time I WILL be ready to sing along and I sort of would be disappointed if it wasn't in the setlist... mixed feelings :-) |
| Fenderek 18.03.2005 07:35 |

I dont think you can call it "Brighton Rock Solo" if it doesnt have any parts from Brighton Rock. Why it is called Brighton Rock Solo is just a stupid name. |
| kohuept 18.03.2005 12:21 |
There is a pic of Roger singing away from the drums and, since there is no mention of a back-up drummer, 'Say It's Not True' is the only song I can think of that he would sing. |
| robbosmith 18.03.2005 12:37 |
The title of this thread was 'Confirmed songs on tour'. are any of these posts confirmed songs or just speculation - not that thers anything wrong with guessing- just wondered. No body seems to be thinking theres any chance of a bit of 'bohe Rhap', wat you rekon, will the lighters be out!!!! |
| kohuept 18.03.2005 13:44 |
If there is BohRhap, there will be lighters! |

Im pretty sure that they would try and do 'Tear it up' as seen in the Wembley dvd too. I think Paul Rodgers vioce would be great for that one. |
| AlexRocks 18.03.2005 21:54 |
Hopefully they playlist will change throughout the tour, eh so even more songs will be done than just one list! Don't you all think?! |
| QueenJazz78 19.03.2005 19:27 |

I wouldn't be surprised if they throw in See What a Fool I've Been. Not one of my favs, but I think it would work. |
