After days and weeks of mailing about when the tickets will be sent the following "Final" (???) mail arrived:

Wow they even pay me back my money for the delivery - isn't that nice?????
WEll i take my order with my , my credit card and a pumpgun in case they won't let me in!!!!!
Just as Freddie said: "Just get on with it!!!!!!!!!"
As I read in another brxiton thread guess the venue pick-up is pretty safe huh? When do you have to be there to collect? SO 2 times queing - thank you folks!! Its really nerve wracking - guess after this I need a well rest!!!
Regards
Martin
just saw that the mail above came from ticketmaster ??!! So how is ticketmaster connected to ticketweb? I admit i am losing my nerves already! F*** it all
Yes, they are. If you ring the ticketweb customer service number it says something like: "If you have a ticketmaster query please press 1, if you have a ticketweb query please press 2"...
someone form ticketweb just called me (10 pm - wow hard working schedule!!!) to tell me the same thing as the mail said - evrythings gonna be fine. They have the problem that not THEY will send the tickets but the promoters themselves. So seeing all those ebay-a**holes putting the tickets up there i can understand their policy almost. But i told the guy - who was quite friendly i gotta say - that this is more than chaotic!
Guess i shouldn't worry anymore - hope so :-)
Regards
It's easy to say "don't worry" when only 12 days are left, you live in another country, two holidays are in between and venue pick up was not an option when I bought.
I sent an email too and I'll start phoning later today if they don't answer.
Now I have two emails from two ticketmaster customer support advisors.
One of them emailed me yesterday that my tickets were dispatched. Today I received an email that I should pick up my tickets at the venue. I am beginning to like eventim.de. You buy a ticket and next day it's in your home. Why did I spend 13,95 pounds for special delivery when I have to collect my tickets anyway.
Because of all the hassle with my tickets last week, I also asked if they thought the tickets would arrive in time. Their answer was that tickets had been sent out, and if I did not have them at the time we are leaving for London to give them a call and I could pick them up at the venue.
(Well... I guess four tickets would look nice in my scrapbook, but it does make one think... ;-)
I think I'll print EVERY e-mail I got from those people and bring them to the Academy!
Some wicked shit going on with this gig... Wonder how much more stupidity we will have to take...
Monday 28 March 2005, Brixton Academy London, 7 o'clock, 200 fans standing in front of the venue;
Some lady comes out with a frown: "Queen show? What Queen show?? There was supposed to be a Queen show??? Here?? Nah... never!"
Same story as YourValentine. Yesterday I phoned customer support and they assured me that the ticket was dispatched. Today, I got the message below:
As an international customer your tickets will be held at the Venue for
Collection.
This will enable you to collect the tickets at the venue box office on the
evening of the event from when the doors open.
You will need your confirmation code and the credit/debit card you used to
purchase the tickets.
Thankyou

I hope everything will be fine at the end.
I had the same email from the same person. I replied asking why I had to pay 13,95 pounds for special delivery when I pick up my ticket in person and he answered
"Your tickets are definately on collection at the box office. The doors open at 7 pm so you
are able to collect from then. The charges you have paid are booking and handling fees and not specific to postage."
Looks like they do not refund all customers and we all get different answers about when the box office opens
Hey guys...we are also picking up our tickets at the venue...so these people are telling you 7:00 to pick them up? I though that was when the show actually started..that can't be right. I heard you could get them 2 hours before the show at like 5:00...anybody know the straight-up deal with the times here?
"so these people are telling you 7:00 to pick them up? I though that was when the show actually started..that can't be right. "
The doors open at 7- show will start later
