Any details why John remixed it, what the plans about this track were (as I remember Deacy remixed this one in 1996 - after MIH release and I can't hardly see any releases where this track could be used) etc. etc. etc.?

At the time it was rumoured to be a b-side of Let Me Live, as far as I can remember.
