I've just unfortunately had to watch Rare Live but in between shouting at the screen, I noticed that before Killer Queen from Earls Court, Brian says something like 'hope you like the gimmicks'. This does not appear in my video of Earls Court, I was wondering if both nights were therefore filmed, or if the bootleg is jsut edited. There's a similar incident in 'The queen Phenomenon' which has Brighton Rock from EC introduced with 'the nasty Queenies are back', again not in the bootleg.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
the Killer Queen performance from Earls Court is in fact taken from 07/06/1977, I'd imagine you have (like myself) the show from the previous day which doesn't feature this comment.
The rare night you're referring to was the second night. I know the rock and roll medley from that night is available on a few websites that deal with rare videos. I have almost everything there is as far as footage but I still haven't obtained this one.

Are you sure this line isn't from the Rainbow 74 show?
Yeah, I wondered if the line was from the Rainbow, but if it is then it's been pasted over footage from Earls Court. You get that line then they start playing Brighton Rock. The costumes suggest the footage is definitely from EC.
Well, from the first night the parts available are:
-Killer Queen (from Rare Live)
-Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy (that appears on Hollywwod Records edition of Greatest Flix, but with the studio version sound overdubbed)
-Rock 'n'roll medley that appears on magic years vol 2, and is available for some of us. 11 min. long.
-You take my breath away (On champions of the world)
-Fragments of Brighton Rock on champions oif the world.
Maybe something more over there, but I don't remember in this moment...
