As a lucky "Winner" (well i have to pay so wwhat did i win :-))of the lottery i expected the tickets this week - as i opted for post delivery and not collecting at the box office. I wrote to ticketweb today and they answered that the Tickets will be sent by THE END OF THIS WEEK OR BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEK LATEST. Well aas I live in germany which is known for its lame post i am starting to worry a bit. I wrote them again and they said that IF THEY SEE A RISK THEY WILL MAIL ME TO COLLECT THE TIX AT THE BOX OFFICE" - omg - seems like i am losing some nerves (especially after booking flight and hotel!!!!!)
Fingers crossed!
Hi,
It said tickets will be despatched 3 weeks before the show. That was the 7th March, so don't panic just yet. Give the agents a call or email them if you haven't had them by the middle of next week I'd say.
Still have to book flight and hotel... the tickets are the last thing I'm worry about at the moment :-))))

I would try not to worry if i was you. You'll get them in the end i'm sure. I'm supposed to get mine a week before the gig but i'm gonna see them at Wembley.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
Now I am also living in Germany and won in the last draw and was first going for venue pick up. I then decided to have them mailed to me and asked last week via email if it's possible to change the delivery. ticketweb's answer was that they would advice me to go for venue pick up as I live overseas and they weren't sure if I get the tickets in time. I would propose to also change your delivery status to venue pick up. That way you are not losing some nerves!
Sure it would be better not to have to queue twice that evening but it's safer I think.
Stupid ticket system... I'm also waiting and if they send the tickets late, then... "we be fucked". Especially when I was invited to Brixton by a German lady (I haven't won the lottery - unlike some people who won three times) so it's quite complicated for me.
Same here. I know that mail to and inside the Netherlands is always very fast. Even stuff from Japan and the US arrives within 5 days. But UK always seems to take a lot longer.
Yeah, this is a stupid system. Sure this is not the only concert with people from overseas buying tickets!
If you know it takes long for mail to arrive, a decent ticketservice would simply post them earlier!
Of course, we are all realy anxious. Especially with everything that went wrong with the lottery and of course because this ought to be the gig of a lifetime and none of will get some sleep before we have the tickets in our hands.
But let's not get crazy of nerves. Still nearly three weeks to go...
why didn't you save GBP 4.95 and pick up on the door, all you need to bring is the card and the number and it saves all the worry and hassle of tickets coming/getting lost in the post.
For me:
1) because I won't rest before I have them in my hand! (And I hope to get at least a couple of nights rest before the show ;-)
(And better to find out there is no ticket while still at home then already spend a lot of money on travelleling to London and find the doors closed for me)
2) I hate standing in a que, left alone standing in TWO on one night!
3)I hope to be standing front row. When I first have to go to the ticket-pick-up I can forget about that! ;-)
=and about getting lost: I payed to get them sent signed-for=
I've been to Brixton many times, and I always find box office collection the best way. The queue door is totally separate and you tend to walk straight in.
Granted on the train to Brixton you check your wallet about five times for your credit card and confirmation number, but it works out better in my opinion.
Maybe i'll see you in the queue on the 28th though!!
