hcrvelin 09.03.2005 06:15 |
Hyde Park here I come :))))))) OK, what is the safest way to get the ticket and where now? News said it would go on sell tomorrow, but where exactly? |
willem-jan 8923 09.03.2005 06:42 |
Bloody expensive.....that's 60-75 euro's. They better make something special out of this one. |
hcrvelin 09.03.2005 07:20 |
Well, Hyde Park is big :) I guess there will be some good support acts before so I'm in. It's summer so I assume it's going to be crowdy and price won't bother people. I missed the UK dates in London and I was getting ready to go to Ireland when this new event was announced. It's on Friday so I love it already! |
hcrvelin 09.03.2005 07:37 |
Hm, I wanted to ask something. I never joined the fun club. Now when I read better the announcement and realized I won't be in position to apply for tickets tomorrow :( Does anyone have any idea how much one should wait until they become available for others to buy? I plan to take vacation and my girlfriend with me to show her London and Queen (she is also fan and we are both not from EU). Any ideas? |

Hopefully, soon. I am in the lucky position to live in Germany where every fan just can buy a ticket for the open air concert tomorrow. Unfortunately, QP has not learned anything from the Brixton et al disasters and gives the fan club another priority booking. The Hyde Park is a big venue, so there is hope you get a good ticket without having to buy pre-booked tickets from ebay (Brixton) or from a second hand expensive ticket dealer like this one link They have been offering the Hyde Park tickets since Monday already - when nobody else knew the date. |
Fenderek 09.03.2005 09:35 |
Hope I'll get those tickets... AWESOME! |
hcrvelin 09.03.2005 09:46 |
I hope everyone gets a ticket he he. I sent email to QFC and Jacky answered that it is going to be HUGE so tickects should be available after members get it first to the others too. Can't wait... we will we will rock you! :) |
hcrvelin 09.03.2005 09:50 |
What do you think, could there be some bigger name as support act? When I say bigger then I'm reffering to the thread about support acts where most of the suggested names were discarded as being big at the time. As Hyde Park will be big one it could be that someone "big" will act as suppport act (or simply join them on stage). I always dreamed of concert where you would have several stages and on all of them bands playing same song together he he... OK, enought with dreams.. let's get ticket first :) |
Benn 09.03.2005 10:59 |
I would think that The Darkness will almost certainl be asked to open for them, But playing HP on a Friday? Why not have it on a weekend - I'm not taking a day's holiday for that....... |

They cant have it on the Saturday at REM at playing Hyde Park on 9 July. |
eggy 09.03.2005 13:15 |
Got an email about it from Jacky. Doesn't say how many maximum we can get though. Should be at least 4-6 though. Still haven't decided to go. Brixton and Wembley might be enough. Have spent so much on tickets recently not sure I want to spend fifty quid on tickets where I'll end up five miles away from any stage. |
Paul Mark 09.03.2005 13:51 |
Eggy, there is an area around the stage reserved for "golden circle" ticket holder. As long as you get "Golden Circle" tickets you are bound to be reasonably close to the stage no matter what time you arrive. Definitely worth it for only 10 quid extra. |

please help have you been sent the presale number because i havent pleeze trust me when i say im registered to the fan club, i love queen and desperiatly want to see them in concert. Please send me the preesale number if you have it. Im paniking here. EMAIL apocolipse666@hotmail.com |
Simoriah 09.03.2005 16:17 |
You'll have to send an email to Jacky, or better still a stamped addressed envelope for the details of the phone number etc. I'd love to go but can only afford the 2 I'm going to (got Brixton tickets yesterday, woohoo!) I only work part time now, otherwise I'd be up for Hyde Park too. Priorities (and finances) change when you're a single parent though. Sounds like it will be great, hopefully it will be filmed too. |
k01olnug 09.03.2005 16:34 |
i tried calling jackie but it was an answerphone, im sceptical about phoning or emailing as the hotline opens tomorrow at 10:00. what is her email adress just in case she can reply in time? and is there anything else i can do. |
hcrvelin 09.03.2005 17:19 |
Just send email to email address listed on site and you will get response. I did so this morning and everything was fine - got response rather quickly. On the other hand QFC must be now under pressure as probably many will try to get tickets so if you don't get response right away do not panic. Tickets go on sale on Saturday for those who didn't apply online before. This means that you will probably skip opportunity to get "gold" tickets in worst case, but I would assume there is plenty of others (HP is huge). I wonder how many tickets will be released for this concert. |

Dont worry anymore someone has very kindly passed on their presale n.o |

One question to those who already had experience with ticket ordering. I plan to apply for 2 tickets on Friday. Now, I do not live in UK, but I'm here so few weeks for business matters and will be again around end of May and start of June (and July 8th of course). When ticket like this is ordered/bought how long does it take to get it? I'm just wondering which ship address I should use when applying for tickets - the one in UK or the one outside UK. I know I can use the one in UK because folks at hotel here are nice and I already got some snail mail which was handled by them. I guess my question should go: I plan to give UK address - how long does it take to get tickets so taht I know when to start my panic mode? :) |

k01olnug wrote: Dont worry anymore someone has very kindly passed on their presale n.oCool :) As far as I could see, with number you can get up to 6 tickets. I guess fans will get tickets on Friday morning and early afternoon (unless we crash the site with all these ordering) and then remaining codes will probably get shared between friends who will join as audience or people who needs it badly as you do. Glad that you made it. |
Steve P 09.03.2005 17:33 |
Is it the same pre sale number in the UK as the earlier concerts ???? Steve P |

there is a problem with the link to hyde park in the email that was passed on it appears to be mis spelt and so when i correctly type it in i can not access the site. Can someone please send me the correct link |
hcrvelin 10.03.2005 05:43 |
My girlfriend and I got the same broken link. Perhaps link will work tomorrow. |
k01olnug 10.03.2005 05:48 |
im not sure it has a space in it so must be wrong im emailing around and will contact you if i get it sorted. p.s. would you happen to have jackies email adress |
hcrvelin 10.03.2005 05:53 |
Nope. Position yourself on the link and click on properties (or look down on bottom of your browser's window) - you will see that real link is one to parlaphone (they are all). My guess is they will start working tomorrow :) |
Mr. Scully 10.03.2005 07:33 |
Yes, the Parlophone link leads in fact to link but that doesn't offer Hyde Park yet... |
k01olnug 10.03.2005 13:17 |
does anyone know whether or not adult supervision will be needed. Im only 14 so i need to know wether i have to invite one of my parents along to get in. |
eggy 10.03.2005 14:14 |
When I booked the tickets today (couldn't resist giving mastercard a hammering!), the main thing that got me (other than the boring ordering process) is that doors were 3pm. from that i'd read 5.30 6pm start, so i'd expect a good couple of support acts. |
k01olnug 12.03.2005 06:21 |
today when general sale i went to on to ticketmster.co.uk and requested extra tickets for a friend of mine whom i didnt know wanted to come when the pre-sale was on and unlike the gigs before the webpage wasnt crashed. Perhaps there isnt as high a demand for this gig i wonder if it will sell out? |
Fraz 12.03.2005 06:51 |
Got Ticket today Hyde Park here i come. |
