Did Queen play on Peter Straker's album " This Ones on Me" I heard come cuts from the album and it has the "Queen" sound. BTY does anyone know how to obtain a copy of this record.
Thanks
The entire album was produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Freddie.
Though Freddie does not get a writing credit on the sleeve, it does say that three songs (Ada, I've Been To Hell And Back and The Day The Talkies Came) are copyrighted to Mercury Songs Ltd.!
Also Freddie is supposedly playing some piano on this album, but the sleeve does not mention him as a musician.
By the way: in the liner notes Straker's manager thanks John Reid 'for his help and assistance'.
Where to get a copy? Hmmm... record fairs, second hand shops, Ebay or be lucky at the fleemarket! ;-)
I don't believe this albums was ever released on cd.
It was released on LP (EMI EMC 3204) only I guess.
But you can still see the cover picture here: link
