Can anyone give me some info about Queen on Saturday Night Live. Im looking for a page about it with dates, songs and other info. I would also like to know where to get a copy of this video if its availible. Thanks
Mercury
edit:
Also, could someone tell me where to find Freddie's last speech to the world. The day before he died. I think it was on MTV, but i cant remember. Please let me know as i have been looking for it a long time. Thanks much.
i think common sense would dictate that freddie prepared that speech months before hand - as no-one could really forecast when with that illness - the end would be certain, it would be literally a few hours' notice - so they made most of the final arrangements a long time before hand
much like anyone with a terminal illness woudl get their affairs in order

Yeah right. One day before dying, Freddie would have appeared on MTV. Great common sense.

this may not be right but i think it was october 25, 1982 and they performed Under Pressure and Crazy Little Thing...and I'd also like to know where i can find that, even just online :D
To all the people who said Common Sense, thanks for the imput. The sarcasm and useless post really helped answering my question about idiots on this board. I was told that he had made a speech on MTV and thats why i was confirming it. So yea, thanks for the imput. And to all who actually answered and didnt give useless and unfriendly at best answers, thanks.
Everyone seems to have imput but no answers. What im looking for now, thanks to all of you who have clarified it, is a transcript atleast of the final speech that was made on Freddie's behalf. Dont bother crticzing me unless you have an answer. If you know where to find this speech, ill give you a list of all my mothers traits that can be made fun of so you have actual material. Thanks in advance.
"Following enormous conjecture in the press, I wish to confirm that I have been tested HIV positive and have Aids. I felt it correct to keep this information private in order to protect the privacy of those around me. However, the time has now come for my friends and fans around the world to know the truth, and I hope everyone will join me, my doctors and all those worldwide in the fight against this terrible disease."
That's the statement. It was read to the press by Roxy Meade in front of Garden Lodge on November 23rd, 1991.
