I'm going to see a nice concert tonight. Since i own a couple of cds of the band on stage i have thought to ask them to sign my cds...where should they sign? on the case? on the booklet? :?
thanks for your help
<font color=purple>Miss James wrote: I should think if you just handed the person the cd they would know where to sign it, cos they probably sign cds a lot.
:D
lol Amanda you're right....
Andrea it's "Statuto"!they have just released their new cd.DOn't know if you like them
Statuto: it's a ska, soul, rocksteady, pop band :) they are on the road since 1983, the first italian ska band, from Turin.Their best period here was in 1992-3 but other singles had success recently. I suggest to check the "Riskatto" album, that contains covers of famous songs (madness, selecter, bad manners...) sung in italian.
hope i shed some light ;)
Let them sign it wherever you would like to have it!
Depends on what you think is nice. For me personally all my atuographs are on the front of the sleeve or booklets.
DONE! 2 cds signed with a blue big pen.The concert was amazing and they were kind with us, i also took some pictures with the singer =)) yeah...i have famous friends now :D
I have two CD's from well-known Canadian music stars, both of which are auto'd on the front booklet. These are CD's from Fefe Dobson (auto'd on Apr. 3, 2004) and Corb Lund (of the Corb Lund Band, CD in question is called "Modern Pain", auto'd on Oct. 8, 2004 at the Edmonton Centennial celebration party, after his band's gig).
If I would have had my way, I would've gotten Fefe Dobson to autograph all the few photos of her inside the booklet from the CD. But the security guards, who were bitchy (but what can you expect of them? Roses?), said only one autograph per person.
Funny thing was, I managed to help someone get both his guitars signed by Nickelback, while I got my own autograph from them (which I no longer have, physically - I only have on a digital scan I made last year, which also has Canadian Idol winner Ryan Malcolm's autograph; these both came from my notebook which I used at the time)
But to sum it up, the front of the booklet is the nicest, especially if the booklet cover's not too dark in colour
I usually get them to sign the booklet because i usually end up cracking my CD cases when they fall of shelves etc, still just let them sign it where they like as long as u have it nothing else matters :P
I've got Gwen Stefani's, Tony Kanal's, Tom Dumont's, Adrian Young's, Davy Jones', Patrick Rafter's, Andy Roddick's, and Freddie Mercury's. :^)
Btw..glad you got that sig, Lorenzo!
