Tie Your Mother Down, Another One Bites The Dust Just the way Freddie sings/talks to the audience during Tie Your Mother Down is fantastic! |

don't_stop_me_now 9697 04.03.2005 16:56 |
Nobody likes Under Pressure? That´s one of my favorites on the album |
Lester Burnham 04.03.2005 17:12 |
Lap of the Gods is great, and so is the rock 'n' roll medley. Under Pressure and Radio Ga Ga are also good, what with Freddie and Roger harmonizing and all. |
doremi 04.03.2005 17:23 |
"Love Of My Life" just transcendent, exquisite! "Is This The World We Created"-same & sublime Freddie has never sounded more stunning, beautiful, & wonderful than on these 2 songs. "Tear It Up" oh so cool! "Under Pressure" & "A Kind Of Magic" & "Radio Ga Ga" & "Another One Bites The Dust" so exuberant & bouncy "Impromptu" really fun & nice well...improv w/ Freddie playing around with the band. "Hammer To Fall" also oh so cool!! & the 50's/60's medly ("You're So Square Baby I Don't Care", "Hello Mary Lou/Goodbye Heart", "Tutti Frutti", "Gimme Some Lovin",) really sounds like Freddie & the band are having a great time covering their favorite influences/favorite music artists. |
Ozzy Queen 04.03.2005 17:25 |
In the lap of the gods. Under pressure One vision tutti frutti now i'm here |
Wez 04.03.2005 17:31 |
One Vision Tie Your Mother Down In The Lap Of The Gods Seven Seas Of Rhye (REALLY gets me jiggin, lol) Tear It Up A Kind Of Magic Under Pressure Who Wants To Live Forever (loving it!) I Want To Break Free Love Of My Life (LOVE That Performance) Is This The WOrld We Created (again LOVED it) Hello Mary Lou (brilliant!) Bohemian Rhapsody (for obvious reasons!) Hammer To Fall Crazy Little Thing Called Love Radio Ga Ga (how can you not love it?) and We Are The Champions dunno about anyone else but i think the opening to the concert was amazing, obviously the rest was aswell but the begining really gets you in the mood! so pretty much i liked every performance! it was an amazing show |
Gunpowder Gelatine 04.03.2005 18:46 |
In The Lap Of The Gods and Who Wants To Live Forever are superb. I like Hammer To Fall and Under Pressure, too, though. |
Frenchfroggy 04.03.2005 20:12 |
I agree, the opening of the concert is superb, the first three songs are very well sung and the audience sounds ecstatic at that moment. |
LucyCoeCollins 04.03.2005 20:33 |
Crazy Little Thing Called love a kind of magic tutti frutti is this the world we created etc |

Absolutely One Vison!!! |

For me really all songs! |
We Are The Champions 05.03.2005 07:37 |
This is simply a great live album.....they're best IMHO: Tie Your Mother Down A Kind Of Magic Under Pressure (one of their best live songs) Another One Bites The Dust Now I'm Here (really powerful and awesome) Rock'n'Roll Medley (Tutti Frutti is coooooooool) Bohemian Rhapsody (best live version) Hammer To Fall (brilliant) We Will Rock You Champions Overall the album is brilliant and captures Queen at their live best. Would be even better if we had more of Freddie playing the piano like in previous pre Hot Space tours! |
We Are The Champions 05.03.2005 07:39 |
Forgot Radio Ga Ga.....is much better live!! |
Fraz 05.03.2005 08:26 |
heres half a dozen others i like off the album below 1 One Vision 2 Bohemian Rhapsody 3 Hammer To Fall 4 Radio Ga Ga 5 Tie Your Mother Down 6 Under Pressure |
Freddie F 05.03.2005 09:42 |
My absolute favourite track from the album: In The Lap Of The Gods I also like the "Tear It Up"/"Liar"/"Seven Seas Of Rhye" medley. It's a very good record, much better than "Live Killers", but at this date, "Live At The Bowl" is the best official Queen live album. |
luko 05.03.2005 13:45 |
i agree with the point made about it would be even better with more piano playing from freddie. songs like dsmn, stl and ptg would have made it even better |
Lester Burnham 05.03.2005 13:55 |
It's a shame 'Somebody To Love', 'Hard Life', and 'Save Me' weren't in the live set for the '86 tour. ESPECIALLY 'Hard Life', as they'd only played it for 1984 and 1985. |
deleted user 05.03.2005 15:38 |
Little_Queenie wrote: Hammer to faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal :)) absolutely my most fave song of all times, and the wembley version - perfect!!!In adding all those a's, you forgot the second l! I really couldn't choose. Crazy Little Thing and Lap Of The Gods maybe. |
ANAGRAMER 05.03.2005 16:23 |
Acoustic stuff is great, elsewhere Fred pushes his voice into gravel territory - should have given up the fags (smoking type!) |
ANAGRAMER 05.03.2005 16:25 |
Have to agree that (despite set-list), Live at the bowl just SOUNDS better - especially Fred |
JohnC 05.03.2005 17:06 |
Under Pressure and Radio Ga Ga are the two best ones. |
daniboy 06.03.2005 02:53 |
In The Lap Of The Gods... The best version ever of that song... freddie knew it will be one of the last times he will sing the song-and gave it all... |
mercuryqueen 06.03.2005 04:24 |
One Vision, Under pressure (i like all under pressure's), Radio Ga ga, and I guess Its a Kind of Magic. And I'd hope BoRhap is assumed. Though i would like to see them actually perform the whole thing for once, that would kick ass. If you know where that is, let me know. |
k01olnug 06.03.2005 07:31 |
for me it would have to be is this the world we created and the opening song one vision its amazing the way that crowd is suddenly transformed into life. Bohemian Rahpsodys great on that tour aswell. |
7Innuendo7 06.03.2005 08:23 |
Lap O' the Gods, Under Pressure, Hammer to Fall, Radio GaGa, Impromptu |

Hmm...too many!!! And it depends on my mood... Anyway I love almost all of the tracks. Of course oldies numbers including Big Spender are awesome. :D |
Asterik 27.10.2005 15:31 |
I loved In The Lap Of the Gods with the harmonising. Tie Your Mother Down outgunned both the Live Killers and On Fire versions; Hammer To Fall was great, as was Tear It Up which eclipses the studio version. I also thought that Queen did a great job in making a rock song out of "It's A King Of Magic". There's so much more eneergy to it live. |
Sherwood Forest 27.10.2005 15:55 |
in the lap of the gods (i agree best version ever) and tear it up, its rockin! |
