I like his older costumes the most.
The Harlequin suit at Earls Court rocked! Also the one covered in glitters featured in various concerts from the New Of The World Tour was awesome as well! :-)
I keep shifting opinion but I think Freddie looked at best at Milton Keynes when he came on.
But also the live at wembley outfit is great.

I also agree. The yellow jacket outfit is classic and I do actually have one of these that was hand made from a retired tailor in Derby England. I would say it is 90 % authentic and it came with tailored made to measure trousers. The complete outfit was about £100 which I thought was staggeringly cheap.
If anybody would like details of this tailor, please get in touch and I will forward his details on to you. The reason for not posting them within this forum is, as I have already mentioned, he has long since retired and is elderly and probably could not handle lots of phone calls and orders but may I say, the workmanship is truly outstanding and I could imagine other outlets charging so much more for so much less.
I love the "arrow" thing on the Hot Space tour outfit... But also like the one from The Works Tour (specially when he came on stage with the "IAHL" wig)
I like the red leather trousers and Flash Gordon tee. Dunno why. But I personally think the yellow jacket is played out (thanks to a number of tribute bands).
i love the casual look (jeans, vest etc.) Live Aid was cool too (tho wat was up with the bangle on his arm), but my all time fav is the one he was wearing when he sang in the lap of the gods at the earls court gig. Also 1978-1981 were wicked looks.

Yeah, I agree with you. It's because these costumes make stages more theatrical and make his performances more striking. The Harlequin suits fit him so much and I think noone will be able to wear those costumes like Freddie did. I also like black one with some spangles and black and white checkered one he was wearing at Houston '77.
Live stage costumes : I like the Harlequin suit (around 1977) and the glitter suit as well (that was just typical of our Freddie's extravagance... I love that) and I also like his black satin costume in 1973 (the one he's got in Keep yourself alive and Liar video). I think his black leather outfit was great (cap, coat and pants, around 1978). I just LOVE the Flash t-shirt and the red satin pants, and the yellow jacket of Magic Tour plus the simple look he had at Live Aid.
Video costume: I'll have to say my favorite is the I want to break free video costume - the wig, the earrings, the short skirt... that's HILARIOUS. But also his Bo Rhap white outfit was great, as well as his simple and sexy clothes in Crazy little thing video. I also love his costume in Radio Gaga, A kind of Magic, Who wants to live forever, Scandal and I want it all videos.

my favorite live costume is the black and white checkered outfit favorite music vidieo costume - i'm going slightly mad or it's a hard life
I like his older outfits, especially that black and white one...If you know what I mean. I also like the Hot Space tour costumes : arrow - theme and that boxing - jacket ( or whatever.. ) he used in Vienna is a smashing idea.
The whole group looks glamorous in the It's a Hard Life - video.
1st-Freddie's yellow jacket at Wembley 1986, he never looked more regal & majestic.
2nd favorite-yep, his signature outfit at Live Aid. (I always loved the arm bracelet he wore)!
