I have been working out a lot recently.
I run about 5 miles 4 or 5 times a week, lift weights, and I did a session of pilates today which from what I can see is a 45 minute session of one crunch :P
So the question is, how much do you all work out and what do you do?

oh come on, don't be so modest. there's also the walk to the bathroom and the thumb action on the tv remote :D
actually I tried working out but I can never last long enough to feel any burn. I always get so irritated or bored and stop. The question is, how do u pump urself up to actually keep going?
and did anyone else notice that on the write of the reply screen it says "messsage" with "s" 3 times?
I DO WANT TO BE ROCKY BALBOA! Also, I wear my mp3 player which keeps me pumped and going. Plus I spent like 30 bucks on pills and for them to work you gotta workout, its a financial think really. :P
Don't forget, you drink 6 raw eggs in the morning. ;^)
All I ever do with workout is a couple of crunches and stretches. Very minimal, cos let's face it, I'm a lazy bum..
When I played football and baseball in college I was known as a workout warrior and did quite a few, football had a lot you had to keep up with, baseball was more relaxed and a lot less running
After college I tried kick boxing for about 2 years, pretty much quit when a full class of about 20 dropped to about 5 ppl and he had to close the gym down
now depends on how I feel after 3 knee surgeys I dont do most leg stuff besides run or excerise bikes
The only exercise i do is sport especially football. But i don't do any sort of weights or running or anything like that, but i compensate by not eating much.
I lift weights six days a week. I do at least 40 minutes of some aerobic activity six days a week (brisk walking, stationary bike, aerobic dance) . And I bellydance, for fitness, and for fun.
I hit the weights Tues, Thurs, and Sun, and run a bit Sat and Monday.
Relatively low weight, high reps (180 bench, 5 sets of 10) etc....
Keeps me fit and trim (6'6", 220 lbs)...
I walk for half an hour every day, go fencing (swords, not wooden panels) once a week, archey 3 times a week, and occasionally stage fight training as required. Apart from that I do no exercise
Dan
I work at a place where i have to be in constant movement, and on Mon, Wed and Fri I work out for 1 hr and a half (cardio 30 min. and 1 hr of weighlifting, and on Tues and Thurs I kickbox for one hour (oh and Fri and Sat nights I go dancing, it is a work out, you can sweat a lot).
well... i kinda stoped walkin to school because of bad weather and i put on a bit... *looks around hoping no one heard her*
well... as the weather will get better, i will walk and take the metro only if i'm running late, and run as well when i have time...
hope i can keep this though... :S

Wow, do you lift weights according to a program? That sounds like a heavy load along the aerobic workouts, hope you get enough rest ;-)
I exercise my muscles on monday, tuesday, , thurdsday, friday. Of course I do take walks, ride a bicycle almost everywhere and jog in the spring/summer. I workout with a program, watch what I eat, drink protein milkshakes and so forth. And... I feel great :-) link is a great resource for any exerciser. It also has good sections about common myths related to exercising, bodybuilding, weightloss and so forth. link
pma...I actually follow a plan that is called "The Fatburning Workout" by Joyce Vedral. Its a program that utilizes freeweights with the pyramid system ( I use 5, 8, and 10 lb weights), using the smallest weight to do 12 reps, the middle to do 10 reps, and the heaviest to do 8. My weight workout is approx 40 minutes daily. I do upper body one day, lower body the next, and so forth, taking a day off every six days. I do ab work all six days. Its worked great for me, and I've gained alot of energy!
:-)
