Panza, I agree with you...freddie's voice is very weak after 1984 (in concert) and I remember being very disappointed by his vocal performance after having listened to the Wembley concert. By the way, the CD of Wembley 86 that we all know is the first night concert or the second one ?
One has to listen to live killers and then live at wembley to realize that his voice had worsen so much throughout the years...
At Milton Keynes Freddie is in top shape nevertheless.
I would say you make a big deal about this. His voice wasn't bad in '86, his voice were never bad. But I can agree mith you that his voice were better in the 70's and in the beginning of the 80's. But he sounded great after that also, not as bad as you say..

CDs of "Live At Wembley" were recorded on the Saturday, but footage from the Friday night can be found on the Wembley bonus DVD.
Freddie, as good a singer as he was/is, never really knew how to take good care of his voice. Hence, why he had such terrible throat problems. But I'm very glad Ms Caballe' gave him a few breathing lessons!
yeah Freddie had a softer voice in the 70's but after '84 since all the vodka he would drink and fags he's smoke had taken their toll his voice was more rock orientated as it was rougher, wheres in the 70's it was a much more theatrical, unique voice. nevertheless it was still bloody good in the late 80's i do not know of many singers who could better him even then.
Adam Baboolal wrote: Nope. Basically the same. And let's not forget, Wembley was at the end of the tour.
Peace, Adam.
