Hi there, i'm looking foward for the video of God save the Queen at the palace, and Innuendo at the tribute concert, does anyone know a site where i can find them?
Thanks
Doesn't anyone take a pride in buying (or owning) the original discs anymore?
It saddens me to say that of all the "music" sites I have visited, that the worst for leeching - by far - is this one.
I can see the point with long-deleted rarities like Roger's "Turn On The TV", but for product which is available in nearly every High Street - and certainly no more than a mouse click away?
I know - "For all I care, John can go become a member of the RIAA. He's a right bastard to begin with..." and perhaps that may be correct, but the amount of leeching which is so openly taking place in here now, in my opinion, has gone well beyond a joke and is inexcusable.
So much so infact, we even have new posters - in their very first post - asking for things like Offical store-stocked Queen albums and mega rarities like "Face It Alone" and "Hangman" almost in the same breath.
I know I may be in the minority, but I would prefer to own the original disc, than a p*ss-poor m-peg 4 copy, but then again, I was not brought up as part of the MTV "instant gratification" generation!
Apart from the fact this message COULD be illegitimate, the message from BHM was written before he created his own site, and before all the downloads were linked, but ofcourse, the message as it stands - still reads contemporary.
Why not drop Brian a line at his official site - and ask him if he supports illegal downloads?
You may be in for a bit of a surprise.
Besides, even if Brian WAS in support, I expect Brian's fellow Palace acts would be less than pleased, nor does it stop this site from quickly degenerating into the internet begging-bowl.

Ok, maybe you do have a point about that...but I (shamefully) didn't know this was an official release. I would buy it if it is in the shops...but I doubt (this being Dublin) they would have it. I'm not going to buy it over the internet because 1) It's too much hassle 2) I don't know how it works; who I'm buying it off and if it's going to work. But more importantly because...ahem..I..um...amn't allowed...*cough*....
And I've already downloaded it.
Linda... I can't remember the last DVD / CD I bought from the High Street... all of my dvds are ordered from the net.
In my own defence i should say that i kinda think as u guys do, but there are some songs that we Queen fans deserve to have no matter what u do....
Innuendo 4 example, please i know that Plant made some mistakes but who cares??? Innuendo live, is something that i always which they could have had the chance to play live...and they just put it out of the tribute videos or dvd, so let get it
I seem to recall Brian encouraging the downloading the an unofficial version of a Joe Cocker song (Because Brian was mixed out in the DVD) ------ IF and only IF ...
You buy the DVD.
Was that Cocker song ... With a Little Help form My Friends?
Can anyone verify this? ... I'm almost positive this is true.
looking for.....a musicstore perhaps???
ummmm, link
c'mon buy the original album!
when you're short on cash (any student pre - 20 years old can't be, and if you are, sacrifice your saturdaynight out)buy second hand vinyl, it's cheaper!!
It sounds much better than compact disc too!!
and the artwork looks much better

I agree - but I didn't think "Face It Alone" was available on the 'net for download?
Face it Alone! Hooah! Lemme at it!
Oh, he said it "wasn't" available. Damn, I must get to the doctor and find out if I'm dyslexic. Or just plain ignorant.
Seriously, go ahead, send me Face it Alone and you'll get my rare interview with Dennis Quaid.
